Hard to find.
I was surprised to find the Hammond Organ oil on Amazon. I needed it for my 70's instrument. After oiling, it works great again.

Got the old girl working again
Everyone says use the Hammond oil (only), so I did and it got our old Hammond M3 organ working again. ( I don't think it had ever been oiled in over 60 years of ownership!). This was achieved solely by topping up the 3 oil cups. The key is that after topping up, let the organ sit for a day or two and then top it up again. This lets the oil seep into where it needs to go. Then try starting the organ, if the bearings sound squeaky, shut it off and top up the oil again and let it sit for another day or two. Repeat this process until the bearings are quiet. After everything is working properly, maintain the oil cups about half full.

Hard to comeby
This oil is very hard to find, and I was very happy to be able to obtain it and get my organ working properly again. Would recommend this highly.

it is not a bad reflection on the generator oil
As I tried to troubleshoot my hammond, the generator oil was one of the options. It did not end up resolving the issue of the motor turning off but, it is not a bad reflection on the generator oil.
