It makes the best coffee, we love it
This is not the first one we have bought. We have hard water and even with cleaning after about 5 years we need to replace it. It makes the best coffee, we love it. The only problem we found is if you want to make a second pot, we normally only make one a day, you need to wash and dry grinder parts. If we do make a second pot I use a bean grinder and turn off the pot grinder. All of the coffee pot part are dishwasher safe.

So easy to have great tasting coffee
This is my second Cuisinart coffee maker and is just as easy to use. Hopefully this one will last as long (over 20 years my first one). Makes great tasting coffee, both from whole beans and ground. Only comment is there was no water filter in the filter holder

Broke a month after using, replacement part not available!
I purchased this coffee maker to replace my coffee maker and grinder. Total mistake, do not buy for many reasons.1. The grinder gets filled with water condensation from the coffee brewing, which means you have to remove the entire grinding until and wash it. Of course coffee grinds do not go down the drain, so you have to use paper towels to dig out all the wet coffee grinds and thoroughly wash after each use instead of being able to wipe out a DRY grinder with a towel.2. As shown in the picture, the bottom of the grinder has a piece that turns the blade. It MELTED a month after using it. I ordered a new grinder thinking it would come with this piece. Nope. Now I have to waste my time over a stupid coffee maker to call the manufacturer and hope I can get this part. UPDATE: I emailed Conair (owner of Cuisinart) and this failed part is NOT available. So, now I own a door stop shaped like a "coffee maker."3. There is no way this is a 12-cup coffee maker! The grinder and basket capacity are more like a 6-cup. I made my first pot according to the directions and I could see through the brewed coffee. If I wanted coffee that tasted like watered dirt, I'd go my local tire shop (love my tire shop, but not the coffee). The entire reason I bought this coffeemaker was to replace two pieces of kitchen equipment with one. Do not waste your money on this pile of garbage. If you do buy it, do NOT throw away the box for when you return it. I cannot return since I do not have the original packaging.

Not what I expected
This coffeemaker did not meet my expectations for the price I paid. Dated 2022 on box (literally) and of course, made in China with the housing cheap and flimsy especially the button that opens the basket holder. It keeps getting caught under the thin stainless steel panel and I have to pry it up through a hole with a sharp object to reopen. You have only 2 hours to finish your coffee if brewing a 12 cup or push this button and then push brew as it starts to try and brew another pot again just so you can heat beyond 2 hours. Design is flawed in my opinion. Even the pot lid must be completely pulled off to clean as it will not raise up by thumb or otherwise. Coffee is hot, you will need to configure the right amount of beans for your perfect cup. The grinder is loud but all grinders are. There is a clanking at times while brewing and not sure exactly where that comes from.I don't think this product will give me my value as I see in person how much plastic is used but I will not return. It takes too long for a refund and I'll order straight from the Company from now on, probably a different maker, and you can guess why.Additionally, and several months later, this coffeemaker will not last. I am constantly squeezing the plastic side in and despite cleaning with a brush, the grinder has too many splits in the bowl that creates spaces for coffee to forever reside. Made in China 2023 per shipping box. From now on with my future coffeemaker purchases, it will be USA made and made quality materials. No matter the cost. This one will need replacing in a year so cost will equal out in good service a new one will bring to the family.

COFFEE ... Need I say more 😀
Some call me a coffee snob.... I beg to differ, i'm simply someone who truly enjoys that one cup of coffee that I drink daily. I'm not a coffee drinker to the point that I drink coffee all day long, simply cannot do that. I have one cup in the morning while I'm getting ready for work.. that's it! I guess the snobbery comes in because I will only drink one particular brand of coffee, and while I have tried others, I have found that this one satisfies my one cup a day coffee needs 😀 What does this have to do with this coffee maker, you ask? Sit back and relax....About five years ago I was visiting my niece in florida and she had a Kuerig of course, who didn't have one at that time or even now right? Anyway, That was all she had. So I purchased pods from my favorite coffee company Caribou (mahogany), and it actually tasted pretty darn good so we decided we were going to break all the coffee snobbery rules and get a keurig coffee maker.... 4 Years later and five keurig's, we decided we were done and it was time to go back to brewing our own coffee. That being said, I wanted one that gave us the option of grinding whole beans and brewing pre ground coffee...enter the Cuisinart dual brew machine.......Now who doesn't love a good French press, and while this is not a French press, it offer similarities in that it grinds the beans fresh in the morning before it brews the coffee! Amazing right? The other great thing about this coffee maker, is that it also brews pre-ground coffee. It has a timer to set it to go off at anytime of the day or night, and the heating pad is programmable to stay on for more than two hours! So far we are quite happy with this coffee maker
