2019 Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 with Intel Core i5-1035G7 (13.5-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) (QWERTY English) Platinum (Renewed)

I was initially sceptical about how this Surface Laptop would come due to the vast amount of negative reviews it had received from people complaining about poor quality. Knowing I could return the laptop for free should the condition be subpar is what gave me the confidence to give me a chance. It arrived the next day in a protective inflated bubblewrap sleeve and with a guide on how to set it up - along with the genuine Microsoft 65W magnetic Surface Charger.The laptop was in pristine condition, with not a single scratch on the lid (even the polished Microsoft logo was free from scratches). The touchscreen was free from any fingerprints and not a single scratch was present. The Alcantara on the keyboard/palm rest was pristine considering the laptop originally came out in 2019 and my model was purchased in 2020. The facial recognition worked, the keyboard was responsive with no visible wear (such as shiny keys), the KB backlight worked, the touchpad was large and clicky with no wear either, and the ports had no excessive wear around the edges, indicating they had been used (as with any 4-5-year-old laptop) but in no way excessively.It came with a licensed version of Windows 10 Professional but Windows update offered me a free upgrade to Windows 11 Professional which took a few hours to download and install but performance is very rapid for web browsing and document typing. The display is bright and the speakers are very loud but don't distort. The laptop does get warm when under load, such as Photoshop but its specs weren't intended for Photoshop with multiple layers.I would confidently recommend the 'excellent condition' laptop to anyone else, but be careful which condition you select as it ranges from 'good' to 'excellent' - mine was 'excellent'. The order doesn't say which condition you got, just that it's refurbished so do be aware beforehand. For £269.99 at the time of purchase, it's an absolute steal!

As per the other reviews, what I got was a laptop in OK but not great condition with defects visible more than 30cm away (one of the keys was so deeply scratched that the light came through the whole key). Level fo refurbishment is very dubious as there was easily removable dirt on the front that nobody bothered to wipe down before sending. Also when I did a windows battery report, the battery health was 78% which is less than promised, plus I got a windows low battery error while charged to 85%. Avoid!

Like everyone else was sceptical due to past reviews however took a chance due to the excellent price and managed to acquire a wonderfully working, as good as new laptop. Overall - thumbs up from me!

The media could not be loaded. I just received his product today, it looks neat, very little aesthetic problems. The only issue is, the battery doesn't last long. I think max on fully charged battery will take you 2hrs to run down. I know this is a refurbished laptop but it said excellent in the description of sale. I am disappointed at this point as I use my laptop on the go at least for 5hrs straight.

Great condition, and easy update to windows 11. Excellent value.

I ordered a laptop in “good” condition, however, what arrived was a device fully scratched with significant deformations and cracked screen. Based on good condition qualification, this is far beyond acceptable and deeply disappointing.

Love this. Probably best laptop that money can buy at this price point.

Just like others stated in their reviews, the refurbished laptop wasn’t great at all. Just a used laptop that was factory reset and sent out. Keys were sticky and dirty, lots of scratches and dents too..had to return it immediately.
