USB C OTG 18W

I am working on a Raspberry Pi project and needed to be able to use the USB functionality while still being able to power the device. I bought this so that I could connect it directly to my phone as well. It does the job. The power feeds just fine, the USB-C port fits nice and snug on all ends, I've been able to use this on all the devices with no issues with compatibility, and even the strength/toughness of the materials and braided lines are a huge plus, as it doesn't feel like a cheap plastic like others I've bought. Will definitely get this again if I need more or make it a standard of my project.

I purchased this for the PiKVM. The quality is great, works as expected, plus the soft material makes it a bit nicer, and price point is also good. Definitely recommend. If you are running into an issue where you are not getting any data flowing through, you need to make sure you are not using one of those in between power buttons. It's the extension piece that typically comes with the CanaKit that the power plugs into with the button. I spent hours trying to figure this out.

Works for ONN 4k plus, so should work for other android cord cutter box, bought the plus due to better speed, plus has less memory, need to due seach to show how to allow new usb, Troy point best for that.

This is a very capable and thus versatile USB-C splitter. It allows for many types of periferals to be connected. I didn't test if it limits data transmission rates but looked at the voltage and current which it supplied to USB DAC's. This cable provides a lower voltage than any other solution I have. Most provide around 5V but this one only provides 4.66V. On DAC's which are very power hungry it did not allow them to fully function. If you need to use this with a periferal which need 5V or 4.9V and can't operate with any lower voltage look for another solution.

Works with Chromecast with Google TV. Using a Sandisk 32 Mb Cruzer USB 3.0 flash drive. Must be formatted as FAT 32. Also tried a micro.sd-2-usb adapter and the Chromecast didn't act right. Not sure if accessing "Developer mode" settings is necessary. Using VLC to play video files from the flash drive. ------ UPDATE 05.30 2024: Works with wireless mouse. For keyboard input, had to use alternative to Gboard. The mouse used to work in Bluetooth mode until the Chromecast Android upgrade.

This splitter generally provides for charging the phone while using the port for something else. My application was that I had an external DAC (to drive a pair of headphones) that drew power from its USB connection. The phone didn't have enough juice to power the DAC. This setup does the trick! I am able to confirm fast charging of the phone continues to work and that data transfer also works impeccably.

New Pixel Pro 10 XL, all settings checked including developer mode. Not even a notification that a USB device has been plugged in. Brought to use with my Dayton Audio Mic and my RTA pro app. Never got mic to work properly. Used AI to troublshoot and nothing seems to work will not even recognize usb drive in C or A platform. Returning.

Works well with the my new ONN 4K Plus streaming device and the ABLEWE 3-Port USB 3.0 Hub with RJ45 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. Worked right away; literally plug-n-play. No configuration setting changes needed; for those that prefer wired speeds instead of wireless.
