I've ignored these in my freezer for a good year or so- just started making use of them again what with summer advancing. They're a terrific way to chill liquor down when you would rather not adulterate it with water. Also, these have veins in the stone.

I have used these several times. It is a good alternative to watering down your drinks. They do not stay cool for long, and you need to be mindful of chipping a tooth while sipping your drink.

Love these whiskey stones. Great way to keep your cocktails like a Manhattan or an old fashioned cold without watering it down with ice. Great gift for the person who has everything. Just stash in the freezer and the stones stay cold when you're ready to make a cocktail just put the stones in your glass and pour your drink over the stones. Note: whiskey Stones do not take the place of ice cubes. They are meant to keep an already cool drink cooler without watering it down. Typically you shake and strain an old fashioned a Manhattan etc

This was a cool idea, wonderfully wrapped for a gift and the stones are beautiful. My husband was very excited to try them. However as other reviewers stated they do not stay cold long and he must use all of them to get his drink cold. You have to drink slowly or the rocks can bash your teeth (not too much of a problem). But the biggest issue is that the rocks chip so bits of rock are in the bottom of your drink. You definitely don’t want to bite onto one of those chips!

These came in a gift box with a pretty red ribbon. I ordered these for my neighbor and he loved them!

This is part of a Christmas gift so it will be a while before I have any final input. They look great, well packaged (I did open to inspect for possible damage). I feel this is going to be part of the perfect gift!
