If you aren't familiar with asian pears, they are not like american pears. When fresh, they are more like a cross between a pear and an apple.I've noticed some negative reviews, but many seem to be from people who hadn't had freeze-dried asian pears before and didn't like them. If you like freeze-dried asian pears, then you'll like these. They are light and sweet like you'd expect, but they are also perfectly dried and sealed (so they stay crunchy), unblemished and without skins, seeds or cores - pretty much perfect for freeze-dried asian pears.Some reviews also mention crushing, which sounds like it could happen as these are very delicate, but Amazon always packs mine well and they come in fairly large pieces for me. Another mentioned that there isn't much in a bag. That's true, but when you freeze dry fruit, you are removing most of the weight and size. It's something you should expect when getting freeze-dried fruit. I dry my own fruit and bucket of apples fits into a single gallon bag.

These are the absolute best fruit crisp! The flavor is amazing. They are the only freeze dried fruit that are actually crispy. They are a bit expensive but I think worth it!

Like most freeze-dried fruit, this has a satisfying crunch-- great substitute for chips and less healthy crunchy snacks! My daughter, a VERY picky eater, loves these, so we buy them fairly often. These are great to have in the car or purse since they don't spoil. The only downer is that they tend to glom onto your molars when you're almost at the bottom of the bag. So be sure you have a minute to scrape them off... It's really a minor point, but if you're headed to a meeting or something, could be an unpleasant surprise.

I bought this since I had similar freeze dried fruits from Costco, but is disappointed to see that's they are made in China. This means that the fruits are from China and so are the chemicals that were probably used to grow them, they are probably not as healthy as claimed. For more than 1 dollars for a few pieces per bag, it's better to get fresh fruits.

I bought these because I hate "dried" fruit, which are basically nothing more than slices of fruit boiled in sugar until the water is gone. I wanted something without added sugar that was light and tasted great. These fit the bill and I order these often.

Made in China, so automatically knocked 2 stars off for overpriced.
