I have gone through quite a few of these filters in the past for my espresso machine. The nice thing about using this so far is that I have not needed to decal the machine. They are rated for many cups, but they never last that long. I don’t know how the machine detects when it needs to be replaced however, I find that I go through one to two of them a year. Even though they are high cost, they save you money from needing to decal your machine so make sure to replace it when the light turns on.

I purchased an expensive Philips Latte Go latte maker, and I want it to last as long as possible with few or no problems. Scale buildup in the unit can be a problem. This filter greatly reduces the risk of damaging scale buildup.
