This is brilliant
I bought this with the flex. It's easy to connect and shows the timers and the time in 12 or 24hr.U can change the brightness. No matter what u have it on, the timer/time stands out.I bought the flex and flex clock to work with my alexa wall clock.I can't always see the wall clock as I've a long kitchen so this is spot on. I plugged it in at the other end of my kitchen, and I can now see the same timer countdown on both the wall clock and this one.I did have to remove the connection between my Alexa wall clock, and my echo show to get the wall clock to connect to the flex and flex clock, but that's fine as the echo show only showed the timer in tiny numbers so was useless for timers.

If you buy an Echo Flex, you’re going to want an attachment and this is a good one
You have to enable this clock attachment in the app, and it’s best to rename it to “clock” or similar for voice control. However, once setup it works well and displays the time or the countdown of any timers used. Replaced an Echo Dot with this on the kitchen, takes up minimal space and the sound is very tinny for music but for voice it is very clear and fine for listening to LBC and Talk Radio stations. If you really spend that much time in the kitchen and want better speakers to listen to music then maybe get an Echo Show but for a kitchen timer, this is excellent value especially during Black Friday at £7 for the Flex combo.

Great for Echo Flex. Beware of pricing....
Bought on a deal with a Flex (£10) and the clock was £8.For that price it's a great add-on and if instructions to set up relevant Alexa Skill are used it's simple to get running. Initial RRP was around £15.The flex and clock are used in the garage in socket above workbench and is easy to connect to a small amp for audio streaming so for this purpose it's spot-on and much more sensible than a dot which I'd rather not keep outside. Handy for Echo commands, music and radio, and to 'check-in' to and from the house if necessary. Doesn't seem to show timer countdowns but I'm not that fussed tbh.Unfortunately at £48 for the clock (Oct 2022) the pricing is madness. Not sure what is going on or why it's been inflated so much but there's no way I'd be spending that much on this when I could get a refurbished Dot with a clock for £40 with a much better speaker built in, even for the garage. So yeah, good product, perfect for Echo Flex, timers are a bit shoddy, but current pricing makes no sense - Wouldn't spend more than £15 on this with the Flex at £10.

Easy to set up
I bought this clock/timer for my Echo Flex. My cooker timer has stopped working and I needed an alternative. This has been really great and so useful, it was easy to setup, just plug it into the bottom of my existing Echo Flex and Alexa did the rest, brightness can be changed via the Alexa app without any problem.

Great addition to the Echo
This is a great little smart clock to use with the Echo, we use it mostly as a timer when cooking but is really handy to have as a clock easy to see during night time. Very handy addition.

As expected works perfectly with the Amazon Echo Flex
I wanted to add a clock display to my Amazon Echo Flex - which is just what this does. I use it as a 21st century equivalent of bedroom clock radio. Good value.

Great little accessory
I’ve got this in a very restricted kitchen so it doesn’t take up valuable worktop space. OK the sound isn’t up there with other Echo devices but it does exactly what I feel it’s meant to. You can still set as many times on it as you like. It displays each time in turn, so if you miss one because of noisy food processors etc., you have a visual reminder.

Fine of used in isolation.
I feel like this needs a list of do's and don'ts before you buy it? I bought it with an Echo Flex thinking 'great, I can have this in the kitchen next to my kettle and I don't have to yell across to my main Echo by the dining area' and yes, you can set up a flex so that the voice commands it hears come out of that speaker. However, if you do this, it sends the timer to that device as well, which then doesn't show on the smart clock. It seems like the way it is programmed is to turn the flex into just a listening station for the Echo and pass controls back to that? Instead, I have to have the internal speaker enabled and tell it to play music on x device instead. While this isn't an issue in the grand scheme of things, I was quite happy with the Echo in my kitchen diner, it just struggled to hear me over the extractor when I was facing away from it yelling at it to set timers and stop timers or skip tracks. EDIT - I have now grouped this and set my Echo as the preferred speaker, so it always sends music here at least, but it's still not exactly what I wanted. It also doesn't seem to want to be commanded to show a specific timer - I can set a timer but it will only show the first one. I had hoped I could say show me how long is left on x timer and it would switch to it, but I can't seem to do that either. What it will do is show your timer with the next least time left once the shortest one has ended. To be honest, it feels easier to just leave my phone open on the timers page. Finally, this flat out refused to be detected on my network when I plugged it in. In the end I had to go and swap out the night light in my other flex and get it detected on that, then use that one in the kitchen. The flex that wouldn't detect it happily works with the nightlight, and both were updated to latest software.I know these have been out a few years and fixes are unlikely to be forthcoming but it feels like it should be smarter. As it is, I feel like all I've really spent my money on is a clock attachment rather than a timer if I want it to behave in the way I want. If someone knows a way around all this, please do let me know because I can find precious little on the internet around this!

I love it!
I have this in my bathroom and it’s so handy! It keeps the time and serves as a nightlight. It was easy to set up. I wish it originally came with the Echo Flex.

Funktioniert einwandfrei
(alles Richtung Uhr) an. Ich kann sie nur weiter empfehlen.Sie wird auch einfach Montiert. Einfach in den USB-Slot vom Amazon Echo Flex stecken und den Rest macht der Echo. Wie gesagt, bin sehr zufrieden.
