Seagull Whirligig/Whirly Bird Garden Spinner Lawn Decoration Amish-made

This is the second one of these I've purchased. The first was outside exposed to the weather 24/7 and lasted about 7 years.

I bought the Puffin last year.I put it inside in the winter here in Virginia.I was shocked at the wood splitting into on the top.I called the Amish company that made it.They asked me to send them pictures.I did.I have heard nothing from them.Very disappointed.

We liked this seagull in particular because of his simple, clean and almost cartoonish (in a good way) look. Good colors. Came with an additional extension rod (@ same length) for yard placement. The rod is probably @4" longer than visible.
