Ram Front Tow Hooks Fit for 2009-2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Replace OEM 82210967 68196982AA

These tow hooks came with everything needed to install and all the parts arrived in excellent condition. I found them easy to install. The instruction sheet was not very good and was confusing as the truck shown was not like mine and the removal of bumper parts was not needed on my 2017 Ram truck. The tow hooks look good on my truck and appear to be plenty stout if I ever need to use them.

I was looking forward to install these into my truck unfortunately it didn't't fit even when all sites, including MOPAR, says it does. The opening in the bumper is just not big enough for these to fit. I have to say that I was impressed with the quality of the hooks. It had all the parts and the installation instructions. In my opinion very well built and sturdy. I believe they are worth every penny. It does fit other Ram styles. Make sure you check before you purchase these.

Not a problem at all to install, just common sense...instructions are junk . Only thing challenging is cutting out slot on factory plastic covers. You could just remove covers and leave them off...but the gap is the size of Jenna Jamesons. LOL. My RAM has the double plastic covers where hooks go. They sent extra hardware if needed? Not sure why, but better than not enough. Heavy duty steel hooks that are crinkle powder coated for a long lasting surface life. I mounted mine with closed end facing each other. Could've mounted either way but I like the look better this way.

Since the tow hooks are no longer available through Mopar I went looking aftermarket. I found these which are factory-style and I purchased a kit that came with the bezels needed for the installation. The items arrived and the bezels look nice and came with the needed hardware. The tow hooks look good, heavy, and should mount just like the factory options, comes with the necessary hardware. The coating is a bit banged up but on the part that doesn't stick through the bumper, so I'm not sure how well they will hold up over time with use I bet the coating will come off. I don't plan on using them a lot but when I need them I want them there. living in the south I am sure they will hold up fine. 4 stars for the dings out of the box. they really could be packaged better, came wrapped in bubble wrap.

I had no issues installing these on my 2010 Ram 1500 Laramie.First, I removed the plastic bumper insert and used a Dremel cut-off wheel to cut the holes and files to smooth out the cut. This insert is held in place by six 2-part trim clips on the top. To remove these, take a screw driver and gently pry the first part out - it acts as a lock. And then pry the second part of the clip out. Once all 6 clips are out (12 pieces total), take a screwdriver and gently pry up from the bottom of the insert to release the built in ramp cleats. Once all the ramp cleats are disengaged, it will pop right out.The bumper insert was the only piece I had to remove to install the hooks. I was able to crawl under the truck for the rest of the job and had plenty of room to work.The hooks lined up and bolted up with no problems. The two brackets that were on the hooks when the package arrived are mirror images of each other. The third bracket that comes in the kit is the same as the one of the right hook - and that was the one I needed - due to the locating peg.The kit included all the hardware needed to mount them. It contained four M12 x 1.5 bolts (which is the correct thread for the frame) to bolt the back of the hook to the frame. Not sure why they give you four, because you only need two. IMO - it would have been better if they were Grade 8 - but that's an easy swap and maybe it's overkill. It's essential to leave all the bolts loose (especially the ones on the brackets) while installing so you can line everything up. I used loc-tite blue on everything before torquing down.Yes, the finish on the hooks was a little chipped up because of crappy packaging. But the scrapes were all on part of the hooks behind the bumper that are not seen. My hooks and brackets were all straight and even. A good overall experience. We'll see how they hold up. I'm taking a half a star off for the bad packaging and not using Grade 8.

This product came packaged well. Product is very heavy and appears well made. Very easy to install on my 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic. Came with everything needed.

The directions are a bit lacking but good enough. I had extra parts. got 3 mounting brackets for two hooks. At least I had one each of left and right. Has 2 extra bolts. I would rather have extra than be short.The hooks bolted right up to stock connection points with no issues. They look great.

First off the box came damaged, Its a 25lb box with metal inside so I get it. but these are VERY Poorly Packaged. The box was similar in quality of a doughnut box and each tow hook was in a bubblewrap bag with nothing separating them. The black coating they put on it was torn and rubbed off in spots all over the hooks. The brackets that mount to your frame with your bumper bolts need to be modified on the passenger side for the bracket to even fit. They also give you 2 extra un-needed bolts for the rear mounting hole. I would of returned them if I didn't already pay to have them powdercoated.Other than that the initial fit was fine. Look like stock.Not terrible, But certainly not great. For $140 I was expecting a bit better quality. and at least a halfway decent box.

Received the tow hooks, I’m very disappointed they look like I bought them from a salvage yard. I thought they were new.By the time I get them fixed up with sandblasting and some grinding for the deep scratches and nicks out of them. I should’ve just bought from the dealer.Otherwise the hooks are fine structurally all the hardware came with them and they’ll bolt right up once I get to that point. Cosmetically not a happy customer so I give them one star.Yes, I can return the hooks I just don’t want to wait again.
