The media could not be loaded.  This is an awesome book for young readers. A positive story for children of all ages especially when anticipating fears or apprehensive situations. It's very evident the authors/illustrator captured his personna...That's judging from the exuberant way the young boy 'owned' and read an exert from his story book.

I love, love, love this book. Not only is the pages beautifully designed and colorful, but I love the simplicity and message of this book. All children should read this book because of the beautiful message,” I am smart, I am blessed, and I could do anything.”This book can inspire & empower children of all ages and skin color to truly believe in the power they embody, so I sure hope that everyone picks up a copy for themselves and the people they love.

This is truly a unique and important book for young children. I love that it shows diversity as well as developing self-esteem and self-confidence. It evens helps to lift up adult readers on difficult days. Thank you to the author for writing this priceless book for present and future generations.

Kids love 💕 it. I ordered 2 one to read to my granddaughter & one for her daycare classroom. The teacher read it to the class Friday & she still wanted to read it B4 bed. Children love 💕 being able to chime in & say “ I am ... recommend this book

This book is amazing!! Not only does it teach a lesson but it is beautifully written. Children can read independently and understand the message. And let me get into the illustrations...amazing!! It is beautifully diverse. Thank you for this book I recommend it to anyone with or without children. Everyone needs to hear this message.

The author of this story was on a news show and the book sounded awesome. The message is amazing and I read it to my toddlers class regularly. I also got a copy for myself, little ones in my family, and friends’ kids for Christmas.I recommended it to the director of my daycare center and she got a book for each class. It’s beautifully illustrated and so positive and encouraging. I can’t recommend this enough. Written about an African American family, it is especially wonderful for multicultural classes and BIPOC families. The children I’ve given the book to have ranged in age from 2-8.

This story is adorable. Ayaan is an adorable little kid who has worries and insecurities like we all do and the entire way through the book they boost him up on his way to school. I read it to my preschooler and when they say the sayings I make sure she says it too. She loves to interact with this book and it is a great book to read and reread to your little ones.

This was a gift for my grandson. He actually repeats the title words when he does something different.
