These contour tools are ingenious. You simply push the tool up to the irregular shaped item you want to have a template for lock in place and you have your template, viola. You receive 2 contour rulers and a soft tape measure like the one for sewing but makes sense because you are not measuring something straight so you need one that bends. No more trying to rig my own templates anymore, no problem with these at all, solid plastic and the lock is easy to use and measurements are easy to read, not sure what else you need.

Update: Don’t buy this piece of junk, really tight, won’t measure the shape right, made of cheap plastic, last for only 3 days.

Love it for small space but hard for long ones does the job as intended

Ease of use but wish it was stiffer. Shape can move too easily.
