When I ordered I was unsure whether the colour would match a paint I had had mixed for a feature wall ( but amazon returns are good so thought i would try) I am so very pleased I wasnt put off by the budget price! Honestly they are really lovely well made and lined in green not white which is a bonus! I took the picture shown in broad daylight so can say they are blackout suitable. Fantastic price and I can highly recommend. Hope the picture helps someone make a decision :0)

Eventually bit the bullet and bought a 66x90 navy pair after seeing the prices for similar in Dunelm........ £75!!I have rather thin rods and the curtains don't weigh them down at all, they've made my bedroom as dark as my toddlers soul, and I had a little happy cry when I put them up. Buy them, live your dark fantasy, we can all be vampires if we choose.Top tip, pair with Arthouse Pindorama paper and dark purple/navy/pinks, I'm never leaving my bedroom again!

thought they were lovely when put up last night but now in morning light hurting my eyes, if like his is charcoal and in winter months, what they bloody like in lighter colours and un summer months. propoer awake now and have to swop curtains now

I bought these in black and thay are just beautiful. The price and quality is amazing. Thay look absolutely fantastic up. I have bought other velvet curtains and payed twice as much. I would recommend these to anyone. Thay are not crushed velvet as you can see in the picture but thay are described as this, but that's a bonus for me as I don't like crushed velvet. So all in all it's a win win for me. Thay are just fabulous.

Really nice curtains, great colour (ochre yellow) just what we wanted, but also another reason we got these was for the Blackout, as you can see from the picture they are not Blackout, bit disappointed.UpdateStill lovely curtains, few weeks on and still liking them and the blackout aspect although not pitch black they do block out light and make it darker.

When I first opened the parcel I was underwhelmed they looked more silver than grey and not like the picture. Upon hanging them the colour looks amazing and the quality is super. Highly recommend. Beautiful curtains.

Curtains are stylish and high in quality, makes the room feel warmer when closed and cut out outside lights perfectly and all at a great price.

This was a gift for my daughter as her room is all black crushed velvet. Although advertised as crushed velvet they are velour.
