its been holding my phone to my car for a good year or so now with no issues.

This is a great phone holder! It clips on easily , it stays on, and holds my IPhone perfectly. I installed this in my 2022 RAV4 XLE Premium. I did change my phone case to a magnetic one.

I had really high hopes for this product. It was more expensive than many alternatives, but I am always willing to pay more for a quality product that provides the best solution to my task at hand. After following the instructions to install the bracket piece, the right side never was flush to the vent/dash like the left side. No amount of coercing helped. But, the bracket still felt secure enough to use, so I did. The disc provided for the phone provides decent magnetic adhesion, but not great. Once again, I felt it was secure enough to use. The magnetic disc on the bracket that the magnetic disc on the phone attaches to came off after 1 week (I did not even know this piece was secured with adhesive, you would think a more secure mechanism would be used) causing my $1400 phone to bounce off the center console and onto the floor of my car. Now, the entire bracket is pretty worthless. Quite disappointing.

The mount itself is well-made and holds my device securely. However, the strong magnet creates a bit of an issue—it puts extra strain on the connection between the mount and the air vent attachment, causing it to loosen over time. To fix this, I used super glue to reinforce the connection, and that made a huge difference. With the added reinforcement, the mount is now rock-solid and works perfectly. If you’re considering this mount, I highly recommend using super glue to ensure a more durable and long-lasting setup.

Fits fine in my RAV4 and the magnet is strong enough to hold my phone securely.

The arms that hold it are a bit flimsy, but if you’re careful - as you should be - inserting and removing your phone (mine is an iPhone 8 Plus with an Otterbox Commuter case on it) you will be fine.

Holds my galaxy S22 phone with heavy phone case very well. I bought the magnetic version because I did not want a bulky holding mechanism cluttering the dashboard area. This is a neat and clever unit that snapped perfectly on to my 2019 Rav4 Hybrid. The magnetic mount holds the phone more securely than I expected.

This phone holder a little tricky to set up but it does my 2020 Rave 4 good.My ottterbox phone cover is too thick to fit in slots on this holder, so make sure you have a very thin phone cover.
