Puff 'n Stuff
This is really a ridiculous book. If you are naturally inclined to laziness, basked in privilege, admire cats, and love saying Awwww while reading Hallmark cards in the grocery store aisle, then this is your kind of reading material. But if you are a Type-A personality who sincerely would like to let go and do less, you will be more inclined to throw this book against the wall. Seriously: lounging as the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Provence? A sigh is your body smiling? Yawn to glimpse the infinite emptiness? Wow. Deep. I will give it to Goodwill anonymously so that no one knows I spent money on this book.

An enjoyable book to read with many tips on how to relax and enjoy your life.
Basically, this is a cute and clever 96 page hardcover book (The Art of doing nothing: Simple ways to make time for yourself by Veronique Vienne, photos by Erica Lennard) about how to take time out for yourself and do things which will help make you relax and enjoy more of your life.I had read a previous book by this author and I decided to purchase this book for a bargain price on Amazon. This book is organized into ten short and witty chapters and includes the following: The art of procrastinating, the art of breathing, the art of meditating, and the art of lounging, the art of yawning, the art of napping, the art of bathing, the art of tasting, the art of listening, and the art of waiting. There is also an informative little glossary and a selected bibliography. If you are seeking a fun book to read with some positive suggestions on how to take some time to just enjoy life you should check out this interesting book.Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Chair/Seated Tai Chi, Qigong, and Yoga for seniors and the physically challenged).

A must have for a sweet and gentle life
Great if you tend to be hard on yourself and need to feel it's ok to relax. It is a beautiful and calming book to read and use when you need a reminder to let go. It's divided into sections that talk about various parts of our lives alongside beautiful and peaceful pictures. A nice book to keep in a place that reminds you to be in the moment :)

How To Relax
Some days the most luxurious thing I can think of doing is nothing at all. This is a lovely little book that helps you remember: sometimes, amid the hustle and bustle of being 'busy' all the freaking time, you just need a soul vacation. I have a copy on the bedside table for guests, and have sent a copy to every single one of my gal pals. This book celebrates the zen of puttering. My favourite chapter is the one with instructions on how to take a nap ;-)

I came to order this book via a circuitous route. Having previously read 'Lessons from Madam Chic' I was interested to see a second book recently published by the same author and so decided to read some reviews about it first. One of them mentioned Veronique Vienne had written something similar (but better) so I thought I'd see for myself. I think I bought the wrong book but it was still an enjoyable experience to read. I found myself relaxing when reading about relaxing and yawning when reading about yawning without trying too hard or feeling coerced because of imperceptible background therapizing. PS I may have coined this word (don't know for sure) it's re therapy of the psycho-babbling kind.

Another hit!
It's hard to understand how difficult it is to 'do nothing'. Veronique puts it into simple terms that help anyone to 'do nothing'. It's a great skill to develop. We all need to do just that.
