Digi-SenseTraceable Remote-Monitoring Thermocouple Thermometer with Calibration; Fahrenheit

Works as advertised. Now I know my oven does too.

This thermometer was a little more expensive than some of the others but it is very accurate and NIST traceable so I bought it. I'm very happy with the unit and have used it to set our refrigerator and freezer to the proper temperature. I've also used it to set up our hot water recirculation system to lower the cost of propane burned as well as seeing how hot the air is coming out of our high efficiency wood burning fireplace at various settings. This is exactly what I wanted after unsuccessful purchases of cheaper units.

Very accurate and high quality product. The only thing is that the thermocouple plugged in at the bottom, which make it almost impossible to be positioned vertically. Mine fell down a lot since I often need to position it vertically.

This device performs exactly as advertised. I verified calibration at freezing (ice bath at 32(F)) and boiling (208(F) at elevation of 1800 ft.). In both cases the reading was with 1 or 2 degrees of actual; well within specifications. NIST traceability is a plus. What more could you ask for?

I have a bunch of these in the electronics lab for monitoring temperatures of things during testing. Very simple and easy to use. Also good for BBQ, as it turns out.

Glasses arrived in a well packed box, so no breakage. They are nice glasses, nice enough for a guest breakfast table. I wish they did not have the indentation on the bottom, since that will cause an eventual problem with dishwasher water sitting there. All in all, a good 6 oz juice glass. I give the seller 5 stars for the service and the product

I use it to monitor my convection oven in my bakery. It has worked perfectly for an inexpensive thermocouple.

Sensor probe that came with the unit appeared to be non-linear. Within 1 degree with several other thermometers at 70° F, but differed by as much as 3° F at 30° F. The calibration was not banded Low, Medium, High, so any correction calibration applies to all temperature ranges. So you can correct 30°, for example, but then 70°, which was accurate, would be wrong. After buying this product with its tractable standard, I’m still looking for a reference I can use for my other electronic thermometers. So it turned out to be useless as a reference.
