DAYBETTER Led Strip Lights 32.8ft Kit with Remote and Power Supply Color Changing

I’ve purchased a few times from this brand to decorate my living space with beautiful ambient lighting but unfortunately the most recent sets I ordered both stopped working after about 6-7 months of use. Ive tried replacing the batteries in the remote and switching the adapters but they flicker, occasionally turn on one random color like red or white and then they die again. They dont respond to any remote function. I reached out via email but got no response. Hoping to get a replacement before having to order from a different brand next

So I did a staircase with the light set. Worked great at first. TV is near the staircase and the remote for the TV would affect the lights and change the color. Blocked off the sensor but the lights then would not change color. So ordered another one. Put that along the staircase and it was fine but it's very delicate and touched it with the piece of furniture and then the lights would no longer change color or respond to the remote color changer. Okay. So ordered a third set but the third set does not respond at all. Only one strand is blinking and one strand would not come on at all. Using a voltage sensor it showed that power was going through both strips but neither remote since we had the old one, would turn on the light strips and make the color respond. Just one strip blinking. If you get it unravel it and plug it in right away to make sure the whole unit operates. Unfortunately I had it sitting in the box and it is just past the return date because putting it up through a stairwell is kind of a pain so I put it off. On the upside it comes in two rolls so there was 25 ft going into directions which worked perfect to go up each side of a set of stairs and light it up very well. Now have to get something else. It's supposed to have a warranty so... Will find out about that.

Very easy to install and adds a nice touch to the space. The color options are great and allow you to customize the look depending on the mood or setup. Everything worked as expected right out of the box. Solid choice if you’re looking for simple, customizable lighting for a low price.

I ordered these lights to put around a mini hoop inside my house. It was TERRIBLE. whenever you try to plug the strip and connector together the connecter kept falling because it was too loose. When i finally made it stay on, hanging by a thread, it looked awful because of the little swoopy thing that i had to do to make it work. Another thing is that the brightness is not great and it's max brightness is very low compared to my leds before. The lights also dont have a variety of movement lighting options, just fades and flashes. This is a terrible led light and i recommend you do not purchase led lights off of the company DAYBETTER.

Seems to work nicely , easy install , but remote has to see the controller, I mounted on top of kitchen cabinets , couldn’t get to work , till I put the controller over the edge of the cabinets , big eye sore , guess I didn’t notice in description if it even says line of site remote , maybe a phone can control it , will look into that option , so , heads up

For $8 or whatever I paid for I can't complain too much but would not use these again. They have two strips so you can cover large areas better. Though the adhesion works well enough to pull paint off the wall but at the same time does not hold up it's own weight. I initially tried these on the wall itself and did not work too well. I decided to put them on the back side of the tvs and it did help make them look brighter by reflecting off the wall but sometimes it was barely noticeable. The color changing was good. The remote worked well as long as it had direct sight of the little antenna. The colors looked pretty but still did not seem to make the whole area really pop since it didn't get too bright. Still, would not buy again. Probably would have returned it if I realized sooner that these weren't going to work as well as I needed them to.
