Great shoe -- but go a half-size larger
I love Brooks shoes; great fit and feel. However, I'd suggest possibly going a half-size larger than what you might wear in other brands.I've found that Brooks are snug -- which is a comforting feeling at times, but other people might enjoy just a tad more breathing room.So if you normally wear size 12, then consider 12.5 in Brooks, etc.

Lightweight and comfortable!
The delivery took a while, but the shoes are great. I'm a 75 year old and live on the top of a small mountain. My daily exercise regimen consists of walking down to the base of the mountain and back up, a total of about five miles. It takes about 90 minutes. The road I walk on is tar and chip. These shoes are lightweight and comfortable from the first time you wear them and have served me well on my walks. I have had three or four pairs of the Revels, and appreciate the construction, especially the rear of the sole, which, unlike many running shoes, forms a gently curve upwards in keeping with the foot's way of hitting the ground, heel first. I find that I don't wear the heels down as quickly with the Revels than I do with my other favorites, the Asics Gel Nimbus. On this particular version, I especially like the laces which somehow seem different but good. If I were still a runner, I think I would be satisfied which these shoes.

Lightweight and Brooks Comfortable. 5 Star Worthy.
Another great shoe from Brooks and maybe their best value as well. I love the lightweight feel and the look, plus I can wear and walk in them all day. I swapped the red laces for black and wear them with just about everything in my closet. They are a neutral shoe so I can't run in them, Adrenalines are my running shoe of choice and a necessity. The Revel 4s are the same as all of my other Brooks shoes as far as size goes and I always buy them a full size up. Besides being lighter than Revel 3s they have a cool new tread design too.

Good buy to replace my long time companion Nike's
I just started getting into regular running - not a seasoned runner yet - and my trusted Nike's finally gave up so I searched for a good replacement within my budget. Though this one goes over my allotted budget - got it for around $80 - I can still say it was a good buy for me. The fit is snug and exact. I like the cushion too and bonus, it comes with extra shoe laces (black), I got the red shoelaces. The flat lace keeps it from loosening w/o the need to double knot - at least for now while it's still fairly new but I don't see it fraying for some time. For now I'm only using it for running and some walking.

I learned I can’t run in these
I went from a 12mm drop to an 8mm drop. Now I have insertional Achilles tendinitis. I had to add a heel lift. Still hurts. If you are used to running in a 12mm heel to toe drop, consider my review and stick with it. It was an experiment for me, with painful results. The shoes themselves are awesome. Lightweight and look good. Most people without my issue would love them. Price is great.

Sweet soft runners
I haven't run since I was in my 20's back in the 80's, it's something that I used to love to do daily and want to start doing again, I don't care for all the crazy looking foot wear out there now, so I searched and researched a lot before I made my decision. I order the Revel 4 and I can say they are so comfortable; light weight, breathable and stable they are the last thing I think about when I'm running, hell I use them for any casual thing I do, I even use them to do work outs now, You could literally wear these all day indoors or outdoors, they are defiantly going on the trips. Every time I take them off is say "good shoes" , great job Brooks.

Great everyday shoe
My husband had an older version of these, which he loved, so I grabbed him a pair of these when that older pair wore out. He seems to like these too. He doesn’t use them for running, just walking around and everyday wear. They seem to be holding up quite well. He likes how breathable they are! Just a note: they are quite lightweight, so not really good for people who might need a little more foot support.

Love these. My third pair
These seem a tad longer than the same size for the earlier but very similar model Revel 3. I have 10's. A 9.5 probably would be fine, but they don't feel too big. I not ever bought 3 pairs of the same sneaker. So comfortable and light weight. Lots of cushion but not too high in the heel portion.
