The CFO Guidebook: Fourth Edition

This book is great desk reference guide.

It seems that lots of CFO don't really play their role (they're focus on accounting and tax related tasks).But the true CFO is the Chief Advisor to the CEO. As such, he/she must carry some activities to reach that goal. This book shows how to do that brilliantly !The concepts are very well explained with practical examples and I greatly appreciate! The book is easy to follow.

It covers lots of areas relevant to the CFO of SME and new CFO. It does not have strategic risk like ESG, value chain, geopolitical, cybersecurity etc

IMO, this is NOT a book that will help prepare you for the role (in any meaningful way) I picked this up as a refresher before starting my 3rd CFO job (after some time away from finance as a CEO). I found very little helpful, as it was mostly rudimentary info you might find in a 100-200 level textbook.

The media could not be loaded. The content of the book is fantastic but my particular copy is missing several lines due to poor printing quality. I wish there were a way to give five stars to the content of the book and no stars to the quality of the physical product.
