I bought a table with wheels to use over my recliner, and it came with those standard m8 shaft, cheap black plastic casters. You know, the ones that are too small to roll over carpet edges, and whose locks engage all on their own? After looking at a ton of options, I chose these. They are reasonably priced, WAY heavier duty than I needed (in case the ratings are optimistic, since I've been burned before), were a larger size to more easily navigate over carpet, safe for my floors, and are fairly neutral in appearance.So long as the M8 stem isn't too long for your application, this is a great caster. I would have preferred two with locking brakes and two without, but these have worked well for my application.

I acquired an old table that had no casters. These worked perfectly.

If I could give these casters a 4.5 I would have. The only problem is the stamped metal wrench used to tighten the casters to the frame. With little force being exerted on the tool, the jaws spread to a point where I could not fully tighten the casters to the frame. Otherwise the caster are great. very smooth rolling on flat surfaces and over cracks in my garage floor. I did add a squirt of white lithium grease as the bearings looked a little dry. I would definitely recommend the casters but plan on grinding down one of your wrenches if you want to get them tight.

Right size and work great

Shipping was delayed a little bit for some unknown reason, but arrived and are now installed. Everything is satisfactory.
