Coloured my melt and pour goat milk soaps beautifully! Attached photos of just a few. I particularly like the alkanet, indigo, turmeric, spirulina, and rose clay.

I have seborrheic blepharitis of both eyes and cannot wear anything on or near my eyes that has mica (rock or sythetic) in it. I have experimented with regular food dyes mixed with tapioca starch to dazzling results, but wanted to try "heavy duty" food dyes and see how they are and if it might be worth switching. Haven't used any yet because homemade makeup lasts far longer than any store version and, as I said, I have some already using the food dye from the grocery store. I am not going to say that I will update this review when I actually use any because I will probably forget by that time (years from now likely). *I did not get rose hip powder in my pack but instead received 2 turmerics. I won't be using either as intended because it is not the shade of yellow I can wear (I'm a "summer" and can only wear baby yellow / very pale yellow). Some baggies are of things with which I have already experimented (ie: cocoa, coffee, kaolin clay). Was still worth the price for what I did get, in my opinion.
