Comfort Cool CMC Restriction Splint, Size: Large, Left

My husband cannot rate this item as it has not arrived yet so he doesn't know if it is going to work for him. It was scheduled for delivery between December 31 - January 5. To date, the item has not arrived. Tracking the order today I learned it may be delivered by January 11 and if not, I am eligible for a refund. This is the first time an order has missed the delivery date I'm guessing due to their employees going on strike. Hope to receive the item soon.I have the same brace which I purchased from the hand surgeon's office. I am rating the brace at 5 stars. It is comfortable to wear and does provide the support my arthritic thumb needs. I've worn the brace when playing golf and it does help with the jarring against the base of the thumb.

My partner uses these. As a lifelong musician and years of construction his thumbs have worn off the cartilage at the base. These really help control painful joints while playing. He actually wears them daily. He met Brian May from Queen at a NASA event and Brian has the same issue… and suggested he should try them instead of opting for the surgery that could correct it. That would incapacitate him for 6 months. So if you have similar issues.. try them

My mother's orthopedic doctor recommended this splint for her trigger finger. I believe I sprained my thumb and the palm of my hand under and to the left of my thumb many ago and it's not getting better. Im not able to rest it a lot because I'm right handed. This splint gives great support and is comfortable to wear. Ready to adjust and put on by oneself. I feel I'm in between sizes tho as my hand measured a large but it felt a bit too loose and the medium was nice and snug but the stitching on the Velcro tended to poke the top of my hand off and on. Overall this is great to have.

I had received a defective brace or identified a quality issue earlier this year. I identified it to the seller upon returning it. The replacement is perfect and they addressed the quality control issue. No charge even though I had it past the return period.

This products is really good for supporting the finger and the hand.
