Component to HDMI, Component to HDMI Converter, YPbPr to HDMI Converter Supports Video Audio HDMI V1.4 for DVD PSP Xbox 360 PS2 Nintendo to HDTV Monitor and Projector (Black)

I had to purchase this converter because my new vizio tv does not come with a componet connection. I did not realize this until i received the tv. I have an older model Bose DVD player and it did not come with a hdmi hook-up. The converter works fine but just wanted to let people know if you have older electronics to connect to newer electronics check to see if both have hdmi connectors or you will probably need a converter because one or the other will have a componet connection.

It seemed fine at first, but then I noticed a buzzing hiss sound that persists when the R audio input is plugged in. Additionally, the screen seems to flicker to a black screen quickly every couple of minutes. I tried using replacement wires, but I get the same issue. It's too late to refund for me, so buyer beware.

Worked fine and image quality was good connecting to a 1080p monitor. Manual states the unit does not like certain interlaced modes, and I did encounter a blank screen when testing old video game consoles until I forced progressive scan mode on the console itself. It is great otherwise.

This is an easy plug-in solution to input a 5 wire component Video/audio signal and plug output to HDMI cable. Uses USB plug for power source. It worked without any issue. Well made in sturdy metal case with labels.

I ordered 2 converters first one did not work and took me a while before I tried the 2nd one and worked great.

I have 3 of these converters, all which I use for legacy video game systems. They function perfectly.

It did not work with my new TV, but would probably be fine with another TV.

Good build quality and performance. Using this to add old DVD changer to new HT receiver. Unit will power up from USB convenience power outlet on HT receiver. I hope it has a long life.
