Big plus for my particular application: They stand up very well to muriatic acid, unlike 3m ScotchBrite (r) sponges which is what I used to buy. So if you have very hard water, like me, and frequently use muriatic to clean scale off of porcelain and metal surfaces, you'll probably like these. Neither the sponge portion (yellow) or the abrasive green degraded significantly in the muriatic. In comparison, the abrasive side of 3m Scotch Brite (r) sponges completely disintegrates, even after short exposure. (At least, at the concentrations I use.) Be aware though that the sponge material is closed-cell, not open-cell cellulose like the ScotchBrite ones. So the sponge side is really not very good at mopping moisture from surfaces like tabletops, whereas open-cell sponges do better for that, because you can squeeze them out first, and then the moisture absorbs into them as they expand. But imo, these are much better for washing dishes. And the abrasive side is robust too, tougher than the ScotchBrite, imo. All in all, very good product, will buy again. Just not for cleaning tabletops.

I had never heard of Mr. Siga sponges until seeing them here on Amazon and I'm very glad I found them here! These are truly HEAVY DUTY. I did a ton of baking for an event and used them to get all of the pans and dishes squeaky clean. These take care of the greasy sticky spots that dish brushes can not handle. Also amazing for cleaning counter tops and bathrooms. On top of that these are CHEAPER than the big name brands and do a better job in my opinion. They also last a while, depends on how much you are using them but about a month at least. These are a great buy!

I orignally misidentified this product, confused it with another dishwashing sponge/scrubber I'd bought. These Mr. Siga pads actually have a good scrubber side that works on tea stains, which is the litmus test of any scrubber. It is the equivalent of Scotchbrite, but uses a synthetic rather than cellulose sponge which I prefer because synthetic sponges remain orderless far longer. I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars, because I don't like the curve built into it, prefer a pure rectangular sponge; but that's subjective. These are good dishwashing sponges and I'm not sorry I bought them.

Long lasting. After 3/4 year, barely any wear. Great value. Wish I needed more.

The green scrubbing side of the sponge peels away or gets worn down very quickly. The yellow side of the sponge is more like the plastic mesh in a shower loofah, rather than the porous cloth sponges usually are. It doesn't hold soap very well, and on some of the ceramics it makes an unpleasant squeaking noise. Each sponge lasts about 4 weeks, but you're "supposed" to change out a sponge every 4-6 weeks any way, so maybe that's by design. I'll be glad when I've gone through them and I won't be getting them again.

These look like the supermarket sponges but they work well on scrubbing pans and cleaning the stove. The big advantage is that they do not really fall apart after a few days, I throw them away because they are worn out by use, not poor manufacturing and poor quality. I shall buy again

After few days of using it. The green sponge detached from yellow sponge.. not worth the premium price.
