Like that it has Velcro for ease of putting on/off but it is still not the best option if your using it for long. Dog cant eat or drink unless you take it off. I've just ordered the round one that attaches to collar. A friend said he uses the round inflatable one when he doesn't want his dog biting at a hotspot and with those, they can drink/eat without you having to remove them.

After getting the backs of my legs bruised repeatedly by Alfie smashing into me, I was very pleased with the Comfy Cone--it doesn't hurt your legs or mar the furniture when the dog has a crash. It seems much more humane to put something soft on the dog because they always seem so uncomfortable with the old plastic cones. I actually wish the Comfy Cone was a little softer than it is but maybe it softens with time. I hope I never have to use it that much. I always try not to use a cone but end up putting it on after all my attempts to keep the dog from licking and chewing various wounds and surgeries have failed. It probably bothers me more than Alfie. I would recommend the Cone when you have to have one and don't want to use the awful ones the vet provides.

I found this cone to be very heavy and awkward on my miniature schnauzer. It is kind of squared off as opposed to a rounded cone. I also don't like that its dark, making him feel extremely isolated since there's no peripheral vision! I put this cone on him once after he was neutered and immediately put it back in the package and put the vet issued clear plastic cone back on him. I would have returned it if I didn't pass the time limit. Maybe someone else will have better luck but I didn't care for this on my 17lb schnauzer.

Much easier on my dog than the hard plastic cones as she recovers from ACL surgery. She can sleep without any problem and for some reason doesn't bump into things as much as with the plastic cone (perhaps because the plastic cones have a larger exit diameter)If your pet is going to need a cone get one of these. Just make sure you get the right size, they need to project beyond the dog's nose to be effective.

I have gone back to the inexpensive plastic collar that I got from the pet store. My dog does not like it at all.

I ordered this for my dog who was constantly chewing her feet, especially at bedtime when I wanted to get to sleep! It fits her perfectly, she sleeps well with it on, and I'm sleeping much better, too. I am very glad it's washable (although I haven't washed it yet), because I see it's getting some dog slobber on the inside :-) Anyway, great product!

Not happy with this collar (Size: med). Its too heavy for its size, it might be fine for big dogs but my 20 lb mutt is miserable, even more than expected. Its too dense and hot. We settled into bed, she was laying next to my face and we both started panting. It's too stiff even with the stays removed, it digs into her shoulders. There is too much velcro, I have to tug pretty hard and is very loud right next her ears. We will try something else.

This is so great for my dogs! They aren't scared when they wear this one as opposed to the "normal" ones from the vet. If they bump into something it's not a jolt or shock like the hard cones. This is very great for dogs!!

Very good product. Much more comfy than the plastic vet ones.
