Arachnid Marauder 5.0 Electronic Soft Tip Dartboard Cabinet Set Black EDBW660

I was a little concerned about this dartboard based on the reviews I had read. My take on this item is:I have had no problem with the power cord failing as of this moment.The darts stick 98% of the time they are thrown.The sound works as advertised. The heckler actually makes my kids laugh.The darts are a little bit cheap and tend to drop the flights once in every 5 - 6 throws. But they're cheap darts and it is expected that they do this. They have a decent weight and flight to them, regardless.The games that we have played are fun and work well. Even my pre-teen kids have a blast with the games.The only concern that I have about this board is the fake wood grain laminate. It looks like it will peal easily. I am sure that this will become an issue as the dartboard ages, but I kinda knew that going in. For the price, this seems to be a decent enough board and one that the kids can decide whether they like darts or not. If not, I'm not out that much. If they like playing enough to warrant a much more expensive set, I know that Arachnid, so far, is a contender for a future purchase.

Having lots of fun with this board. Great customer service.Sound Issue -- After about a week of use, the Sound stopped working. I called customer service and they immediately resolved the situation.Dart Tip Issue -- I randomly bought some extra dart tips think that they were all interchangeable. They are not. The ones I brought were too pointy and thin. This board requires ones that are a little more rounded and thick.I added some cork panels above and below because the Kids are terrible (for now) at darts.

We bought this dart board for Christmas. It has been getting a lot of use and the kids love it! The multiple games are fantastic. The heckler is a bit annoying and fun, too. We definitely needed more darts and tips right away. The manual says to not go larger than 18 grams, so we bought 18 gram darts. Within a day, the glass paneling which shows the scoring had at least 5 shattered areas. DO NOT go all the way up to 18 grams if you buy more darts even though the manual says it is okay. The functioning still seems to work for now, but the aesthetic for a brand new board makes us sad.

The speaker is wimpy and volume is set on puney.I wired in a spare computer audio system speaker, from the internal connection and mounted it external.Sounds better, but still quiet.It needs a simple audio out jack

Great board but 1 of the 2 LED Displays STOPPED WORKING 3 WEEKS After I got it! Called the company directly & was told that it's been Discontinued! Supposedly sending me an Arachnid 800 as a Replacement!!We'll see if it Actually Show's Up!I asked the gal if she'd like me to send mine back & she said, "No, you can either Throw It Away or Donate It!"Same Answer All 3 Times I told her I'd be happy to Return It!!Seemed to EASY that She's sending me the Replacement! She didn't Hesitate at all once I told her about My Board!!Stay Tuned for an Update!!Holy Cow!! I honestly forgot to Update my earlier Review!Now it's Dec 6, 2022!! Late for Sure!!NEVER too Late for this Part Tho!! The Cricket 800 Board was Delivered "On Time" Based on What the Gal from Arachnid had told me, I was Shocked!!And the 800 is Championship Size & Probably Cost 2.5 Times what I Paid for the Board that I Originally Bought!!Company that Actually Did What They Said They'd Do & Then Some!!!
