Not black screws as shown on the picture but silver screws with a black plastic cap.

I must not have read the description close enough. These high quality hinges are for shower doors which have glass that has already been cut out for hinges. My application is for new (not tempered) glass which has no cutouts for hinges, I missed the fact that these hinges do not install on new uncut blanks. Keep in mind that if the glass is a blank, it will need to be drilled and cut for these hinges to be used. The hinges are excellent in every way, so my hope is that my cutting skills will allow me to use them.

I've installed 3 of these on the same 2-hinge shower door, over a LONG period of time. They do go bad from the shower water getting in. The price can't be beat. Replace them one at a time on the shower door after they start to make too much noise. Make sure the door is stabilized before you remove the existing hinge.
