The light is very bright and uses much less power (and generates much less heat) than the fluorescent tubes I replaced. However, one was dead on arrival. That was a serious bummer as I was hoping to install all 4 in one day. UPDATE: The company contacted me shortly after I posted my review and we have worked out an amicable solution. As such, I am fully endorsing this product. I have all FOUR lights installed now and the workspace is fantastic. It is hard to believe that so much illumination was possible with so little amount of power consumption. On top of all that, the fixtures are very low profile which gives a sleek and modern look to the work space. Lastly, the quality of the spectrum is fabulous. This isn't that yellow soft white nor stark and blinding daylight. It is exactly what you want in any workspace. Lastly, the LEDs, being far more energy efficient than the fluorescents that I replaced, create significantly less heat. Keep in mind that when a light source specifies a certain number of wattage consumed to produce said light, that wattage is observed as heat. So, these low wattage LED light sources save me money both in electricity costs for the lighting itself and the reduced reliance on AC costs to extract the added heat. All in all a good value. A good product.

Shipping was pretty quick, but I wouldn't say fast. Got a notice that the shipment was lost, but I waited and they came. I installed in six rooms. The installation was very simple- white to white, black to black, green to green. The hardware is pretty lame, you may want to consider getting screws with a bigger head on them. Turning them on was a blast! It was like Jesus walked into the room with a bottle of wine to share! Very bright! 4500 lumens.... Great for rooms where you need a lot of light. When you put the end caps on the diffuser, you will have to bend the anchor wall forward or it won't look right Not very much, just a slight bend. To sum it up- They look nice, they are easy to install, and they are very bright. Drawback- kinda flimsy, needs better hardware and you have to do some slight bending. All in all, good lights.

I bought 30 of these to light a basement studio. It turned the area into a great workspace with soft, even light at the right color temperature. They are quite bright as well. The electrician had no problems with the installation. I love working under these lights. AND they're inexpensive to boot! I inititally bought a different brand light that had a clear acrylic diffuser (as a sample) and the light was harsh, and uncomfortable. I couldn't see spending a workday under it. It went back. I also wonder whether clear acrylic will turn yellow, and become brittle over time. Just a speculation, since I don't know how much UV light the LED's emit.

This is a follow up to a video posted earlier. Please visit the video for verbal identification of unacceptable product condition. In short recap, one of my four lights were destroyed by dealer activity considering box was in perfect condition upon delivery. The still photo above demonstrates the awful condition of one light, the other three in perfect condition. Considering no visible damage to the box, I suspect my box of lights may have had a damaged customer return light that never should have been in the box in the first place. However, it took two separate calls to Amazon customer service before the issue was resolved amenably. The lights are very nice and great lighting in the room. My rating is for the three perfect condition of three light, considering the smashed one never should have been in the box. Also, 1st call to Amazon customer service working with Sandi failed resolution and rated 2-3 stars for poor service mostly. Next day call involving cs staff named Rap was excellent customer service who gets 5 stars.and deserves the highest rating possible. At any rate, check your orders always on delivery not after putting the good ones into operation. Better to be safe than sorry

Worked great, small but lots of light.

Excellent Product, easy installation

I purchased a set of 4 lights 4 years ago and again another set of 4 a couple years ago. Both sets were 6 (six) inches wide after installation, the metal base was 5-1/8 inches wide, and the finished width became 6 inches after installing the plastic diffuser cover. They are great lights, look beautiful and the light is even and soft on the eyes. A super buy and a great product. I ordered from Amazon another (same) set of 4 about 2 weeks ago to supplement what I already installed on my ceiling, unfortunately, the lights I received look the same in the pictures but are 2 (two) full inches less wide. The finished width is 4 Inches instead of 6 inches and the metal base is only 3-1/8 inches wide which does not cover the standard 4 inch electrical box. It's like they shrunk 2 (two) inches in width. I cannot use these new smaller 4 inch wide lights to supplement the ones from 2-4 years ago that are 6 inches wide. They do not look the same. There are no dimensions listed on the Amazon web page for these lights, so be careful ordering new sets. The newer thinner lights do not even cover the standard 4 inch electrical boxes found inside most all houses in the ceiling, which keeps the electrical box and wiring exposed, totally against code. AntLux and Amazon need to be upfront about the new smaller width of the lights, and list the dimensions as part of the description. You can probably hang these lights in your garage or workshop but you cannot install them on a ceiling with an existing standard 4 inch electrical box. AntLux, please bring back the bigger (or wider) 6 inch finished size lights.
