I’ve used regular salt, it’s cleaner, but not strong enough with windchill. I looked on amazon. I scrolled a lot. Saw roadrunner, saw delivered the next day. I got one. Went back, got another. 50 lbs. is very heavy. You will need a bucket to put this in. I used a large HD bucket and placed the bag inside it before opening. It's a mixture of fine and coarse salt, so don't use when there's a breeze. It does a good job once it's spread. Make sure to place plastic over the bucket before putting the lid on to keep the salt dry.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT!!! I havent used it yet, but I will. I like Road Runner as it doesnt ruin your conrete and steps. I have been buying this product from the store for 6 years. Online cost more than the store but it is a better product than what the store sells.

Bought this for a snow storm that never came, but i kept it stored and finally got to use it, it definitely kept the ice off my walkway and my driveway, we'll worth the price.
