Black Diamond Storm 400 Headlamp

I've used this light for about weeks to walk my dogs. Super happy with it, the light is bright, and can be adjusted. I swapped in rechargeable batteries which I haven't had to recharge yet, and I also like the fact that you can swivel the light down to see where I'm walking.

I loved this one but unfortunately it was eaten by a concrete placer and then ran over by the paver. So somewhere along I-40 in Winston-Salem NC resides a Black Diamond Storm stuck in the freeway.

This is my second black diamond head lamp works really well for hunting, plenty of light for going to an early morning stand . Especially like the green mode. Bought this one as a spare.

This is the best headlamp I have ever owned for hunting. The lock feature is awesome. My old headlamp would accidentally turn on in my pack and wear the batteries down.

I love this light !!! It’s super bright and works awesome for walking in the dark or just keeping by your bedside!!! Love the color options for stealth while hunting !!!

Good full feature headlamp to adapt to all of your needs.

The good, bright and many features. Dimming is perfect. The bad, a tad on the heavy side, battery life is way below their claims or other tests I've seen, and I definitely can see how the latch can break easily if you're not careful... lastly, while the tilt is great, not sure how long the hinge will last as it feels cheap.

This flashlight looks great, solid, lights up very well, easy to use, lots of features, isolated. I couldn't check the battery life because I didn't get to use it until it was empty

Well I was really disappointed after putting the supplies batteries in.Then I noticed the blue light indicator was on one light, odd I thought. So swapped them out with fresh and WOW. I walk at night in Welsh countryside with little or no ambient light. Put another way it’s as dark as hell. This light is brilliant. I find it comfortable worn on my head or over a beanie. Just buy it if you need a headlight.

After a few uses it starts to rattle inside I returned the item for a replacement. After a couple of uses this item also rattled i put it down to design fault hence the price. The item is good but the batteries x4 AAA that are supplied do not last long 3 days when using the torch at half brightness, an hour each day,have yet to use after replacing batteries.

Had an older model of the Black Diamond Storm previously and loved them it but unfortunately it stopped working so I bought this one because I didn’t want to spend the amount that the newer versions are. Works just as well as the old one but I am disappointed that the colour in the picture is not the same as the one I received. The name of the colour in the description is the correct name for the colour that I received but I don’t understand why they have provided pictures of a white and black headlight when it’s in fact only black. Very unfortunate!

Reasonably easy to follow instructions but be careful installing batteries as if not done correctly you can spring the back hinges. Lighting is sufficient for my requirements and it is easy to switch through. Overall basically happy but possibly slightly over priced.
