De-Solv-It Contractors' Solvent

We use this @ home and @ work.

This stuff is great I use it as a degreaser and cleaner for grunge equipment. The best way to describe it is it's like paint thinner that dissolves in water. Somethings it works best to put on straight then work around and then use water to clean up, other things it seems to work best with a little water mixed in. I does smell like oranges big time, which is nice, but can be a bit much. The nice thing is you can use very minimal water to get the greasy dirt off so you don't have a lot of rinse water to deal with.

This item is strong but very sticky unless you have a this layer to remove. We used a paint brush and not so much luck but syill a quality item

Very good, used it to remove very thick tar from a roof. Just be patient let it sit for a while and then scrape or wipe it works.

Where have you been all my life? Some VERY bold claims are made by this product, “Works 100% of the Time, GUARANTEED”. I’m on my second gallon! Let’s face it, some stains are never going to come out. Not even by this Orange-Sol, however, it got some out that I’ve had for YEARS! It is so diverse I get to get rid of so much clutter. All of those specialty cleaners that do nothing. This is one of the only cleaners I have now.Thank you.I wish it had not been kept a secret, at least I never heard of it.

This not only cleans, it also desolves labels and anything sticky. Have used this product for several years and would not be without it

To start with I was using this product to remove glue, dried water based latex paint, and mastic from concrete. These adhesives where used to adhere carpet padding and linoleum which had already been removed. In some cases, the paper backing of the linoleum was still adhered to the floor by a heavy application of adhesive.Being able to distinguish no less than four different use cases (different adhesives and conditions) I hoped this solvent would work for at least one of them. It turns out it did not make any perceptible difference in removing the adhesives or adhered materials, including water based latex paint, in any of the use cases.I thought that surely allowing the paper backing of old linoleum to soak with this solvent would make it easier to remove, but it did not. It is also worth noting that all of my initial tests were using the solvent undiluted.This solvent performed considerably worse than water, which actually made a difference, particularly when warm or hot. The best performing solvent I found for my use case ended up being Goof Off, which was not really surprising given how well it has worked for me for other applications.

This is the best product for getting anything out of your laundry, I have been using this for years and it works better than anything I have ever tried.
