Brainstream Zwitscherbox Classic Sound Therapy Machine with Motion Sensor, White

Apparently, this device is photo-sensitive but not motion sensitive. You can jump up and down, wave the box, shake it, but it doesn't trigger. The instructions say it works "best" in bright light. In fact, it only "works" in bright light, if at all. It works best if you turn it on and off and on again. For the price? It's garbage.

This product is awesome! The bird chirping sound is totally realistic; sounds like birds are just outside my windows! Reminds me of my childhood when there were lots of trees around our home and real birds were chirping all of the time. I find the sound so relaxing and enjoyable that I am buying one for each room!

I love this thing. I have it right inside my front door.Whenever guests come over they are greeted by beautiful birdsong.

A quiet room and then all of a sudden the sounds of beautiful bird songs. Of course it gets an excellent review, (unless you hate birds, then why did you buy it?)

I absolutely love the Zwitscherbox! We have it in the guest bathroom. It's a nice relaxing background sound.

just a pleasure to walk by and hear the sound of the birds...very relaxing andyou can adjust the level of the sound....just love it.

Did not listen to the sound machine it was a gift. Recipient liked it.

For the first 2 weeks it worked as advertised. After that it played sporadically regardless of motion. It has a mind of its own!

Schöne Idee. Aber: Die erste Box musste ich zurückschicken, weil der Lautsprecher ständig schepperte. Ich musste die Retoure selber bezahlen, obwohl Artikel defekt. Die zweite Box hat dasselbe Problem, so dass man nicht voll aufdrehen kann; aber nicht ganz so stark.Für diesen Preis einen derartig minderwertigen Lautsprecher zu verwenden, der ständig übersteuert ist schon dreist.

A friend told me about this and I was a bit skeptical at first but I LOVE it.The sounds have an gorgeous echoey quality - just as if you’re standing in a clearing & the birdsong is reverberating around the woodland.It took a little while to work out the best place for the box - the movement sensor seems to be light sensitive, so if it’s too bright, it doesn’t always pick up someone walking past, you have to wave your hand over it.We’ve put it in the hall & it’s almost like a announcer as someone walks past into the kitchen. Frivolous but adorable if you love birdsong.

We put this in our cloakroom where my wife had gone a little lockdown-crazy with the decor - dark colours, jungle wallpaper and some big artificial plants. I thought some rainforest sounds would go really well in there and this was the closest thing I could find.It's brilliant! It appears to be a light sensor rather than motion sensor so it does go off a little more than we'd like if the door is left open, but we've had it more than 6 months and the battery is still going strong. It really finishes off the room and gives it a cozy feel.A selector for a choice of different relaxing sounds (i.e. rainforest, thunderstorm, wind chimes etc) would be a great addition.

Honestly, I love it. It brings a small spot of happiness everytime I enter the room. Exoctic birds singing their graceful song as if i'm im the Amazon. For a brief moment whilst dropping a duece I almost believe I have to reach over for a leaf to clean my pert posterior.A little on the expensive side and for £20 I believe this would sell much better but enjoyable all the same.

I saw one of these in a garden centre but found this cheaper online. I have it in my downstairs cloakroom so every time someone uses it the room fills with (Bavarian) birdsong - a delight. You can turn the volume up or down. It goes on for just about the right length. It is not a cheap product but a lovely gift if you have a suitable candidate!
