Why do I ever pay so much for real MJs? These are great!

They're perfect in every way
Wow!!!! Ive been buying many brands like Ray BanMaui Jim etc for 50 yrs These sunglasses have it all, especially The lens type in bronze, brown and polarized they are lightweight. They fit the face perfectly. The nose pieces couldn't betterFor the price, I would buy a back up pair because I don't think I'll find something that good in the future once prices go up

Reasonably priced and has lasted the summer
Was looking for a pair of glasses that would be similar to my Maui Jim’s. These fit the bill. I bought the nylon ones and paid the $24 for them. I also bought the less expensive pair but I haven’t tried them out yet. That’s because the $24 pair are doing just fine. My only complaint, Is that after dropping them multiple times in gravel, the lenses got a little scratched. Now mind you that was my fault, but I didn’t expect them to scratch so easily. Not bad enough to quit wearing them, but just to know they’re scratched. As I stated earlier I haven’t worn the lesser expensive ones, due to the $24 pair holding up so well. I waited to write a review for at least the summer to make sure they would hold up, and they have. So I am happy with them and for 24 bucks I think they’re well worth the money compared to a pair of Maui‘s. I have three pairs of Maui‘s , however I’m not going to be buying any more Due to the cost and my last pair did not hold up very well. These glasses came with a nice case and a cleaning cloth which was a nice little bonus considering the price. So I may not get to wear the cheaper ones till later in the year but all in all these are a good pair of sunglasses at a pretty good price. enjoy3-21Ok update on these glasses. Yep still holding up great. Use the case, use the lense cloth, and I quit dropping them in the gravel, and they are still my regular sun glasses!! Haven’t used the less expensive ones yet!! At this point they are and will be my future purchases. They are placed in the case and sit on the dashboard tray (maybe that’s why I haven’t sat on them or lost them!!) and are used a lot while driving. Due to being lightweight, I forget sometimes that I’m wearing them. so five stars for a reasonably priced pair of sun glasses that actually lasted more than a year!!

Great except for bright nose cushions
Likes: I like the look of the glasses. They are very lightweight and the fit is good.Dislikes: I wore them for the first time this morning for about an hour. The brightly colored nose cushions can be seen while wearing them. Behind the dark lenses, they are bright enough that I was getting a headache by the time I took them off. A dark color would be better.

Good for the price
Time of ownership: a year and a half.I like the way these look and that they wrap around enough to give you full protection, even in situations like boating. The lenses are fairly dark, unlike many cheap sunglasses. I bought these because they are about the only nearly-unbreakable wrap-around style that you can buy non-polarized. I've broken countless pairs of sunglasses before, including these, and am not convinced that spending more money on sunglasses means they still be tougher to break. As far as I can tell, spending more on sunglasses, unless they are an expensive frame material like titanium, is just a fashion and brand thing.I buy the non-polarized because I fear it might be hard to read a smartphone with the polarized ones – a problem I've had with other sunglasses in the past. However, I've broken several of these anyway. One fell on cement and was scratched in such a way that it affected its clarity when wearing. This is likely a problem with all sunglass frames that aren't a tough lens material such as polycarbonate. A second frame I actually did break, but I had stupidly put them in the ground while gardening in a shady area, then I stepped on it! I expect these glasses to not break when being carried in a bag, but not so much when they are stepped on! I did have a third pair whose frame partially separated from the lens on one eye when I cleaned the lens a bit too vigorously. I unsuccessfully tried to glue it back together. This pair went in my wife's car as the pair I'll use least often. Finally, I lost a pair when I capsized kayaking – not much can be done about that!I've replaced them all anyway because they are pretty good and the plastic TR90 frames are "mostly" unbreakable, much more so than your ordinary plastic sunglasses. Just understand their limitations. Don't step on them and don't pull on the lenses when cleaning with a cloth. And they could still get scratched because they use cheap ordinary plastic lenses.
