Dense and sometimes technical reading
Freud describes very well how the dream is formed and composed, how to interpret it... but in some passages it was too detailed with tecnifiques that could be familiar to psychologists not general readers like me.The best parts of the books are in the first pages and from that point onwards in the examples and how they are manifestations of the unconscious.

Freud is an excellent read
I love reading anything Freud...if you are interested in dreams and what they mean...and not just those stupid dream dictionaries...I would highly recommend reading Freud and Carl Jung...2 excellent psychologists who have great theories about dreams and the unconscious mind.Thank you for reading my review, please let me know if you found this to be helpful. I like to know that it is worth my time to write these reviews. Have a great day!I rely on reviews to help me make a decision when shopping online. I do keep my posts updated if the item breaks or exceeds my expectations for an extended time.

Kindle Problems
It is a great disappointment to be totally engrossed in a book, and then find yourself in an unknown part without any page numbers to indicate where you are. I really don't know how to rate this work, because I had so much trouble trying to read it on my Kindle Touch. From what I was able to read,(In between losing my place in runaway Kindle responses.) I was impressed with Freud's pioneering work on the subject. I found the work to be surprisingly informative and not really that far out of date with modern interpretations of both psychology and dream theory. So my low two star rating is not really a reflection on the book, but is a result of problems with my Kindle.Actually, I was impressed enough with the book, that I might purchase a hard copy, but this is probably the last serious work I will attempt to read on the Kindle. The Kindle Touch is a great idea, but is definitely not user friendly. (At least mine is not.)

Well, it's Freud
I don't really like Freud so much, I mean he did an awesome job, but I'm not so much for psychoanalysis and looking for a meaning in every tiny detail. Till now I only had read the parts from his books so I decided to read the full book. The beginning seemed funny to me, but then it got serious and really interesting to read.

Dream Psychology Psychoanalysis for Beginners
I recently decided to reacquaint myself with Freud’s written works and this was the second book I chose to read. Whether you like his style of psychoanalysis or not, Freud is always a good read. Dream Psychology fascinates me and I think this is a great book that explains the psychoanalysis of dreams. One thing is for certain: Freud is never boring!

Insightful
A helpful insight into the psychology of dreams for beginners . Only if Freud had lived in times when he could have interacted with the Tibetan Buddhist masters of the Drram yoga :) that would have been a great research he could have done

He Started it all
So many people go to Freud for advice on dreams? He's the first to think this way about consciousness? People in the 20th century write like a machine! Freud sounded like he was alone in a wooden home often in the cold. Didn't really say that much about himself as he was pounding away at his studies. Scary dreams or wet dreams, it doesn't matter, Freud would have listened. Funny, He brings up telescopes a few times.

On dreams
It's Freud's "On Dreams" rebaptized. Essentially, according to this book, dreams manifest from either recent impressions, repressed emotions or wishes.

Three Stars
It is, after all, not quite my style of reading. Too hard for me to understand.

very analytic
This book needs to be read in a relaxing mood with no interference other than soft music in the background. I enjoyed it
