I purchased this product this week. I am not one to read instructions fully and kind of just dive-in. I moulded some shells I sculpted with polymer clay. The end result was great. Having never used anything like this before I found it very easy to use. There were a few bubbles but I didn’t put it in the fridge as suggested so that’s my bad. The silicone is very strong and I can’t wait to get going and save myself some time with not having to hand sculpt every shell. It is pricey so make it last with using appropriate sized containers. I probably could’ve had some product left over but was too impatient to find smaller containers so used up a lot of product for one mould.

This review is for 20.46oz kit. I've used this product several times now. I've only had an issue with it twice due to different reasons. Reason number one was my scales not working properly, so I started using scale weights to double check my product weight. Resin two was residue on my project, which interfered with the silicone and created an inhibition layer, so I always wash all my pieces while wearing gloves before placing in the housing. My last project took between 61-63 of each silicone part, for each project. With these measurements I ended up having 4 moulds of the same project, using one kit. You can colour the silicone rubber using mica powders, which is specified in the kit instructions. The silicone rubber itself is that milky clear colour when mixing. I'm not sure how transparent it is when set without colourant, as I've always added some sort of mica into it. To make moulds I use a vinyl tape to adhere my pieces, which was a tip I got from someone else. I also use Let's Resin mould housing, which is another great product from these guys for mould making. Over all I highly recommend these silicone rubber kits and their other mould making products.

Ich wollte eine alten Bilderrahmen restaurieren, der eine feine Zierleiste hat, die teilweise ausgebrochen war und in dieser Form nicht mehr zu erhalten war. Die Abformung ging problemlos, nach ca. 14 Stunden war das Silikon gut ausgehärtet und ich habe eine feine Gussform erhalten, die Detailgenau ist und eine perfekte Restaurierung ermöglicht.

La verdad es que está silicona me ha salvado. No encontraba ninguna compatible con mis modelos 3D de resina. Pero está funcionando perfectamente. Por poner una pega, se me hace pequeño el bote y se me agota enseguida. Pero vale la pena por su calidad.
