LED Galaxy Night Light Projector, ZOTO 3D Nebula Star Sky Projector, 360° Rotation LED Projector
I enjoy using things like this to brighten up the long winter nights. The reviews I read seemed very favourable and most reviewers were pleased with their purchase. When mine arrived I eagerly wanted to set it up and get it working. The first problem was finding a suitable location, the power cable is ridiculously short and finding a suitable place near a power socket was difficult. The second problem was positioning the projector to point in the correct direction, the shortness of the power cable contributed to this problem, but also the setting of the projector at the right vertical angle relies on sitting the projector on projections or ridges on the underneath off the casing. The options are very limited, and the projections are plastic with no anti-slip covering, so the projector is liable to slide around, adding to the difficulty.I couldn't find an ideal vertical angle so I had to improvise with wedges to achieve the correct angle on the ceiling. This left the projector poised very precariously on the shelf, and because the projector does not have much weight, and with no non-slip feet, was very susceptible to being dragged off the shelf to be sent plummeting to the floor,I overcame this by 'trapping' the projector on the shelf using books to prevent it moving.Once operational, the projector is quite impressive. The star field is a bright green colour (only) but the positions of the stars seem to form a grid pattern making it a little predictable. The projector does not have a 'shooting star' function, but I discovered this happened accidentally when the star beams reflected off shiny objects in the room and added enormously to the effect.I discovered that the 'star field' had 3 rotational speeds, fast, medium and a rather jerky slow.I preferred the slow speed, when it wasn't jerking, since I found that was the most soothing speed. However, I discovered a further operational problem with the jerky slow speed - after about ten minutes, the rotation would stop completely (guaranteed) and could only be restarted by changing to a faster speed and then changing back down again. Not very good.I ran the projector for several evenings hoping that the slow speed may settle down and 'loosen' and start running smoothly without stopping, but alas, it didn't.There is a wide choice of this type of projector on the market, with a plethora of differing functionalities, some are much cheaper than this item and better value.I really wanted this projector to be a success for me, but the temperamental slow speed was a great annoyance and the problems locating and setting up the projector each time it was moved was a nuisance.Further, being a Prime item, I could have kept and enjoyed the projector for longer, but due to it's susceptibility to accidental damage, from reasons described above, I decided to return it sooner rather than later.Hope this helps.

Not exactly great for the money, other machines are better.
Me and the mrs during this lockdown have gotten quite into our fancy lighting, and were already the owner of a similar machine that cost around £20 which gave a simple aurora effect. It was quite pleasing however not particularly bright especially for a larger room, so we decided to try this model out. When you first turn it on it looks relatively impressive, but after extended use, it was quite apparent it was not really worth the money. The aurora effect was pretty unspectacular for starters, and the movement of it was not smooth at all times, where it would 'judder'. The stars were also for the most part not that bright either, although on certain presets they did seem a bit better but overall we were not blown away. If the device had cost maybe £30 maximum then it would have been acceptable, but for £50 we really expected better.I was also surprised to see no batteries included with the remote. It did us a favour in the end though by completely failing a day before the door closed on a return/refund, so we were able to send this back. In the end we got a Delicacy Star Projector which was £5 cheaper, works and looks better (albeit still not perfect) and includes batteries with the remote.

Safety hazard
We bought two of these projectors as initially we were really impressed with them, easy to use and fantastic projection sadly we have to send them back as we discovered that the plug socket had burnt out and was a huge safety hazard, luckily it didn't cause a fire but we are very concerned regarding these items. Do they come up to British safety standards?

This makes a room look amazing!
This is my 1st ever review on Amazon after using Amazon for 10-15 years...The reason I am leaving this review is just how good this light is.Before I say why it is good let me say that it is a bit expensive and I have only used it for one day so i do not know how long the motor will last etc.Now having said that I like most bought this to make a room look pretty.Well it sure does that.IF the star colour could be changed and IF the nebula brightness could be changed this would be 6 out of 5 stars.Overall this light is well priced - especially if it were 30 or 40 not 50 - and in a dimly lit room this is the best (ie most interesting) light I've ever had.I only had it delivered yesterday but i have already sat going thru the remote control options for an hour approx. just staring at the combinations you can configure with the remote control. If you want to make your room look pretty and especially if you like astronomy and if £50 is not too much to do this I'd say go for it.Check out some of the video reviews - watching them is what made me buy - I thought it might not be as good as the videos looked - but it is....It's not at all practical - this is decorative - but it's beautiful...:)

Expensive but soothing
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. £50 probably seems like a lot but it’s such a good projector, much better than my last one. Well worth it!It has several different colour functions and you can turn the green lights off if they’re a bit too much.
