It’s aluminum so… it’s better than plastic. Had a plastic one broken and leaked gallons of water into the basement. Brass one are better but it won’t exist in these days at this price.

Good clamps come with these. They seem to be well constructed, but are just a bit small for 3/4 inch hose. This makes using them easy, and was easily cured with a couple of turns of plastic electrical tape before inserting them in the hose. The bit smaller size makes them easier to use with a 5/8 too.

Not sure if the issue is the connectors or my hose, but every time I try to repair my farm grade hoses the connector leaks. I have recently solved the issue though. I now use 2 clamps on them and presto no more leaks. I like these because the gaskets are the flat type, some come with rounded edge gaskets and those always leak after 6 months. Good quality items

While this is a decent price for so many, the material they are made of doesn't appear to hold up over time. They feel like aluminum but have a brass plate to them - and now mine are rusting in spots. They. must be made of a alloy that with steel and as such, probably will not hold up over time.

Heavy duty and durable! I use a lot of hoses across 3 acres of gardens and orchards. Much cheaper to cut out kinks and cracks and utilize the proper length. I bought 2 boxes.TIP Dip the hose end in very hot water for a few seconds then slide the adapter into the hose and clamp down. It was MUCH easier than struggling. No leaks at all!
