Excellent Quality Filters for a Smooth Smoking Experience
The media could not be loaded. I've been using Dr. Perl filters for a while now, and they truly make a difference. The activated charcoal inside does an excellent job of reducing harshness and moisture, resulting in a much cooler and smoother smoke. Unlike some other filters, they don’t affect the flavor too much, allowing the full taste of the tobacco to come through while still cutting down on irritation.

I like that you can insert either end first. This did not used to be the case. Nice upgrade.

Takes out the tar!
In California the herb is legal. So I did an experiment to get a cleaner sesh. I taped two glass tubes with 9mm inside diameter together with a filter between, to see how well the filter cleans the tar. This is the result.You can see the glass tubes before ad after the filter, smoke inserted on right end (blackened).Photos show clean (0), and after smoking 1, 2, and 6-8 herbal smokes (420).I replaced the filter after four, th en smoked two to four more.These really remove a lot of tar! But none of the active compounds. The golden color in the left tube is the cannabinoids we like to consume.
