A little darker than the OEM screen
Works for what you need but dimmer than the Original hardware screen so that kinda stinks. Easy enough to install but be careful removing the black border on the old screen it breaks easy still works even tho it snapped.

There is a YouTub* video we followed along with to replace the screen, it took us about an hour and was a great learning experience for the kiddo. It's working great so far.

It lives!
Was sold a gamepad with a busted LCD by a local scammer. Rather than getting upset about it I turned it into a learning/life experience for me and my kids and decided to bring it back to life again. This LCD did the trick!I was able to keep enough adhesive from the old digitizer to make it work with the new screen, and I did magage to peel off the black backing from the old LCD screen (with a hair dryer) and adhere it to the new one which does not include it. After some daily delicate reassembly, we were up and running! Glad we went with this seller.

Screen works freak. Easy to install.

Doesn't include trim, but otherwise good
Neither the iFixit guide nor this replacement package warned me about the trim piece that is stuck to the old screen you're replacing. I broke mine trying to transplant it, and this package does not include one.The screen displays some odd banding effect at the top which I assume is the backlights.I greatly appreciated the included tools. They were better sized and more magnetic than my own set

Lcd works, but digitizer doesn't fit
I didn't end up replacing the digitizer because it works fine, but I did try. The lcd screen worked perfectly, but the touch screen digitizer didn't fit in the connector as the ribbon had a black cover. There was probably some way to fit it in but it was just inconvenient and unnecessary.

It is kinda tricky to install
It is hard to install if someone thinks they can just plug and play. Good item though.

Perfect replacement! Tools helped alot
It was perfect , have to be some what handy ,over all not that bad to replace link is on youtube.
