I purchased two of these, a green and a purple, both are true colors and not "crayola bright." As recommended by some other reviewers (and the company itself), I washed & dried these a couple of times before we needed to use them... not because we HAD to, because I don't think you really do, but because it truly does make them softer!Two of these folded takes up less space in a backpack than a full-sized adult beach towel, yet it is generous in size. We took ours to Six Flags and I was immediately impressed at how easily they fit into my bag and how light they felt. After some time in the water park, we grabbed our Turkish towels and marveled at how quickly we were able to get dry! They really are that absorbent! In addition, with the sun and a light breeze, they were barely even damp by the time we folded them up and put them into my bag to take home. No wet bag needed.They're soft enough to use as a light blanket for a cool summer evening, and large enough to use as a picnic blanket or quick tablecloth at the park. They wash and dry quite well and seem like they will last us a while. I don't have any complaints at all except I wish we'd found them sooner!

LOVE THESE TOWELS! Not only are they beautiful (we get compliments everywhere we go!) but they pack down small, dry quickly and don’t hold sand. We live in Southern California near the beach and we also have a pool so our family is in and out of the water constantly. These towels are much more absorbent than you’d expect given how lightweight they are, and they dry so quickly! My favorite part about these towels is they don’t trap pounds of sand like terry towels do. A quick shake is all it takes to remove any sand! We have a rainbow of colors and all seem to be holding up well under daily use and regular washing-no fraying, loose stitches, fading or pilling. The generous size also makes it easy for adults to wrap up completely in them (my daughter’s and I can even make wrap dresses or skirts out of them!). After seeing our towels all of our friends and neighbors are buying them, too! I love these so much I replaced our bath towels with them, too!

Great beach gear. Shipping was very quick - just two days and they arrived with enough time to wash and pack for Hawaii. I bought two - gray and turquoise. The colors are soft pastels, not super bright, which I prefer.They can fold up super small or flat so they didn’t take up much room in our carry ons. It’s woven tight, unlike towels that will keep sand in the fibers. Sand flicks right off with ease and it was also a nice barrier between me and the sand while laying on the beach. They dry you off well and also line dry/hang very quickly. Very versatile - though bulkier than a sarong, it can be used as a coverup, shawl or light weight blanket in a pinch.I tried using one as a bath towel when I got home. It was awkward because I’m accustomed to the bulk and softness of terry towels, so drying off after a shower was weird. They are still a little stiff but it’s nothing a few more washes will not remedy. All in all, it’s a good investment. Much better than thick beach towels if you are beach bound.

This is not like the American thick, looped cotton beach towels that we are used to. This is perfect and better!!! There is no looped weave so sand doesn’t get stuck in it and it doesn’t snag on tiles or bricks at the pool. It is really thin so it drys in a snap but is absorbent. It is a great size so it covers 2/3rd of the loungers on the pool deck and blocks the heat so they don’t burn you. The fold compactly so you can even shove it in a purse if you want to save space. It will shrink a bit in the dryer but I dry mine on low heat or air dry to avoid that. It doesn’t pile or fade (I did get the light aqua blue) I will never go back to regular beach towels!!!

These are awesome. Seriously. I bought two for a recent family beach trip across the country, and they are so much better than traditional towels for travel. They are lightweight and fold up tiny, and they are still very absorbent. The size is comparable to an oversized beach towel. I haven't had any issues with either of them, and have used them probably weekly (at the pool, river, beach, etc) and I love that I can put one in my hiking pack in case we jump in the water.I love the colors (I have the aqua and navy) and they wash beautifully as well. They dry super quickly either in the dryer or outside. I will definitely be purchasing more of these, and would highly recommend them.

We bought three of these. Tired of the mildew smell fluffy terrycloth towels get in New England summers after just 2-3 uses, not to mention the cost of drying them, we sought out alternatives. First, these are beautiful (we got the black, yellow, and blue ones). Next, they stay clean forever, even with daily use, because they dry so quickly. They wash well and even in this outrageous humidity, can be line-dried quickly and easily without any mildew smell.An unexpected benefit is the size. They make the best beach towels we've ever used, as they're long enough and wide enough, easily packed, and as I keep saying, dry quickly and thoroughly.We'll pack them away in the winter, opting back for the coziness of traditional fluffy towels in the cold, especially since they won't mold during those months, but these are all we'll ever use again to shower in the summer, or go to the beach or pool.
