Good product
Bought this to replace my existing stereo in my trailer. The overall dimensions were a little larger than the original. But with a skill saw I was able to get it to fit perfectly. I've had it installed for about 2 months now and have used it extensively, it has worked flawlessly. Bluetooth connected easy to my phone and other devices. DVD player functions as easy as any other DVD player I have used. All the controls are pretty simplistic and and intuitive in their operation. The only thing I wish it had was a Blu-ray player instead of the DVD.

Does odd stuff
This was replacement in my 08 camper. I found it easy to install and instructions were excellent. However, I used it first in Fall 2018 and used mainly for cd and radio. I have found that often when playing a cd that the stereo will switch to the radio. Can't find what the problem is. This was a replacement for the 4800 which has a common ground on the speakers. I chose not to use that one for that reason. I called the company looking for advice and they sent me this system at no charge and told me to keep the 4800. Might be a clue as to why it jumps to radio. I probably would not buy either stereo again.

Drop-in replacement for the LS5050CD
My primary reason for upgrading the coach stereo to the newer model was to be able to stream from my phone or other devices (Bluetooth). Also, I had no clearance anywhere to change the size of the opening in my cabinet wall, so I needed something of exactly the same size. This new model is quite similar to the older LS5050CD model that came with my motorhome, although it has significantly more power. Getting the old one out was easy enough after finding the mounting screws hidden under removable brackets on the front face of the unit. However, the new unit did not come with installation instructions (available online?), and no template for drilling holes for the mounting screws. The screws that were provided were way too small - they slid in and out of the mounting holes. It took a couple of trips to Lowe's to find the right screw - #6 x 1 3/4 since my cabinet wall was pretty thick. Then the trick was to guestimate where to drill the holes as this unit screws in from BEHIND. The photo shows the rear of the stereo (it is on the left edge of the photo) and the two mounting screws. Getting those screws in and secured is easier said than done especially since my unit and other electronics are in a panel beneath the kitchen sink. Anyway, it is in - works great and sounds great. The unit comes with two harnesses, one for the A & B speakers, and the other for the power, ground, and C speakers. I just used the second one and connected my main (and only speakers) to the C wires. And one other note - my old unit had a small plastic box on the power wire which had some resistor or transformer in it plus the fuse. I completely removed this and wired the power directly to the harness of the new unit as the fuse installed on the unit itself.

Can't even set up the clock or watch a movie.
Finally had this player installed a few months ago to replace the original one on our RV. Just tried to set it up and watch a movie. First, the digital set-up didn't seem to be working right. Spent 20 minutes just trying to set the clock to correct time, but it would not display as directed, kept flashing the the AUX setting or volume control instead of the time. Then tried to watch a movie. The display indicated it was playing and we could hear the audio - but no picture showed. Checked all connections, checked all inputs on tv - nothing. Very disappointed.

I like it much better than my previous unit
This Wall Unit Receiver works very well so far. I like it much better than my previous unit ........a Jensen which cost a lot more money, didn't have Bluetooth and stopped working in less than two years with minimal use at that. I really enjoy the Bluetooth capabilities, easy installation according to my husband, and sleek modern design.P.S. I will give Jensen credit for including a large black plastic border surround that came with our previous system. We were able to use it with this unit and we didn't have any cosmetic wall repairs to do.

Great buy
Our camper had a "Touch Audio" which was a piece of junk. Would short out, sounded like it was eating our DVDs, etc. We replaced it with this one and so far so good. Had to enlarge the space slightly which was an easy fix. Sounds great, gets more radio stations than the last one, DVDs play just fine, looks better than the last one. Pretty happy with it so far.*** Make sure you take the screw out from the top to get the DVD/CD player to work! ***
