Star Wars Frames: 100 Postcards Card Book – November 10, 2015

This is not a book. This is a collection of panoramic postcards with screenshots of stills from all 6 movies. They are presented in order that they happen which is a lot of fun to look through in chronological order. The case has an open side on the back that allows you to display one of the postcards in a "frame" (the open part of the box). It looks really good and I like that I can change it up as I want to. The only issue is that because the box can display a postcard, I now have to choose between so many great moments and I no longer want to send these as actual postcards to people. On the writing side of the post card it includes which movie it is from.The cards are well printed, they have chosen fantastic moments from all of the movies (even if all of the movies weren't fantastic). These are great to send to those Star Wars fans in your life and will look just as good as a decoration. They are a good size which makes them more fun to display.

This is a pretty great postcard set for Star Wars lovers. One thing that surprised me right off the bat is that the cards are huge. They seem to be about 4 by 9 (inches). The quality of the photos for the most part is great, maybe 5 that seem a bit blurry. Also most of the cards focus on the original 3 star wars, i would say 70 30 original to new star wars. The frames cover a wide variety some of the famous moments and characters, scenery, its a nice selection. The box is bonus i guess for collectors i just wanted the postcards

Lots of good movies stills. The postcards are large enough that they will need regular postage, rather than a postcard stamp. The postcard images are split between the original three movies and the three prequels. I haven't counted, but I'm guessing it's either an exact split or very close to it. Generally, I prefer the originals, but several of the prequel postcard stills capture cities or planetscapes that are quite nice and make good use of the long format of the cards.

Star Wars Frames: 100 Postcards is a wonderful collection of postcards that Star Wars fans will appreciate.You may be aware of the book  Star Wars: Frames  that was released a few years ago - it was a large set of two books with over 1,400 frames from the Star Wars films. This new product simply takes 100 of those frames and publishes them in postcard form - it's more condensed and as a result it's more affordable.The cards measure just over 4x9 inches, which is wider than the average postcard but it preserves the original aspect ratio of the films. They are made from high quality card stock, so they should remain sturdy if you actually want to mail them out.Episodes I-VI are included here, so the postcards serve as a nice record of the complete saga so far. Frame selection is pretty good - many of the iconic shots are present, but there are some questionable choices too.Below I've listed each film and the number of postcards in the set:1. The Phantom Menace - 132. Attack of the Clones - 133. Revenge of the Sith - 154. Star Wars: A New Hope - 205. The Empire Strikes Back - 196. Return of the Jedi - 20The postcards come in a very nice collectible box which will keep them safe. The back of the box is open, essentially acting as a window through which you can display one of the frames.

Great card set box that can be used As a frame. A must if your prequel or original s fan

My son (big star wars fan) loved these!He sends them to friends and family. The quality of the image is good - and the scenes are well chosen.

This set of postcards is massive as in the cards need a regular first class stamp instead of a postcard one. For the price, it's not a bad deal as you get 100 oversized (4x9 inches) and thick postcards for about 14c each, but the problem that exists is with the actual photo prints on the postcards.First off, there is a wide array of imagery that was selected for the set, but some leave you wondering how they were selected to represent a "masterpiece of cinematography". With that being said, the quality of the prints is mediocre at best, as you'll have some that came out excellent, and others that are just plain terrible because either colors are muddy or washed out, or there's artifacts or other issues with the way the postcard was printed. These aren't bad for being relatively cheap, but for allegedly being a "The deluxe keepsake package also functions as a display frame: the box features a die-cut window, so fans can rotate their favorite scenes into view", I don't know who'd actually want to show off these poor quality images.

Magnifique coffret de 100 cartes format paysage, reprenant une toute petite partie des 1416 images sélectionnées par George Lucas pour le livre Frames.Le packaging est absolument génial, un très beau carton épais, recouvert de papier brillant avec des effets de relief, la boite contient un tiroir plutôt costaud qui protège bien les 100 cartes, et le top c'est que le boitier peut servir de cadre de présentation.C'est vraiment un superbe objet de collection, et même si je prévois d'acheter le livre, je suis ravie de cet ensemble de cartes.

Fine work and very nice looking. Probably are held in a storage for a long time because the package had some signs of wear and tear and was dirty. But overall it is the perfect fan gift.
