Polyform Polymer Clay 8 Oz: White (Update Version)

If you're like me, everything should either be soft pastel shades or brilliant color! But white has it's place. For one thing it's great for blending and making custom colors. More economical that way too. Let's say you have a large project and want a mid to light shade of blue. Can't find one you like? Or the one you like only comes in 2oz. blocks? Easy solution. Buy  Sculpey Premo Art Clay, Ultramarine Blue Hue , mix a little at a time with the White Sculpey to achieve the desired lighter blue that you want. Voila! A large amount of the perfect blue.Happy crafting!

I'm not a polymer clay sculpter or enthusiast. I just wanted to make two hand print ornaments with my toddlers this year for Christmas. The clay shipped quickly. It was a little hard out of the package but with the warmth from my hands and a bit of kneading, it softened and was workable. The 8 oz. block was perfect and made two ornaments with just a little bit left over. It took quite a bit of pressure and pressing to get my toddlers' hand prints deep enough to show all the details. But once we achieved it, all the details including fine fingerprints were captured. it was easy to bake in the toaster oven to set. I placed them on a foiled lined try and baked as instructed (I did turn the temperature down a little lower than recommended because I read online that the white clay can brown when heat is too high) for about 15 to 20 minutes. I'm very happy with the clay and the ornaments we made. The kiddos had a lot of fun making them. I would recommend this product for price, versatility, and ease of use.

It is amazing! I made little clay pins out of them! They were super easy to use! If you are painting on top, sculpley has a gloss coat that you can buy as well so the paint will stay longer!

Been using Sculpey for 7 years now. It was really great product. Although if you don't use it within a year, it tends to get really hard. So only get something you would use immediately.

Worked great! Scupted & baked it to replace a broken part of an ornate mirror frame. Can not tell where the new piece is.

This is much cheaper than buying a "kit" and it makes more!Pros:- Easily molds into whatever shape you can create- Bakes with no cracks (no bake clay always gives us cracks)- Priced well on Amazon- We made two large hand pressed ornaments from one brick and still had clay left overCons:- ... cant think of any...Ornament instructions: Take about half of the block and kneed it then flatten to about 3/8 inch circle. Take a big fountain drink cup (or small tupperware bowl) and use it like a cookie cutter to make a circle out of the clay. You can reuse the scraps. Press the desired hand, foot, paw (whatever) into the clay. Use a straw to punch out a hole or two for a ribbon. Use a toothpick or screwdriver to write on the clay if desired. Bake and you're done.

This clay lends itself to little hands that are just learning or an older child's hands that require more skill. It grows with them and I like that open-endedness. If they make a nice piece they want to keep, it is nice it can be baked and made permanent.

I was worried this may arrive dried and/or expired, but I got a fresh package.Great for beginners working with oven bake clay

When I needed to make a 3D model to visualise my design as part of my A Level Textiles piece, I at first tried using the 3D modelling program Sketchup. As the chair was too complicated to make in Sketchup, I looked to making it out of clay. I wanted a clay that wouldn't dry out and would be good for beginners as this was my first time using clay so I chose the Sculpey III Polymer Clay.The clay was easy to work with and it came out how I wanted it to look. Using clay sculpting tools and the blue collage I made in Photoshop as a reference, I made the model in two hours. I baked it in my domestic oven using the guideline on Sculpey's website wich was 130°C in the oven at 15 min per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. I would definitely buy this again.

I have bought two batch of these. One back in July 2016 and the other one was February 2017. The difference was, the last batch was too soft and sticky to work with. Had to bin them!!

It's sculpey. Worked as sculpey. Perfect for what I needed ((dollhouse miniatures)) just be careful as it gets dirty really easily due to its colour.

Wanted to make some earrings out of boredom during quarantine, worked perfectly! If you are planning on painting over your creations (I did mine with acrylic paint) I would suggest also buying a sealant because the paint chips very easily. The clay itself is very easy to use.

Sticky and tacky feels like thumb tack putty but has been fun to use. Does leave residue on fingers untill washed off.No real complaints if i wanted top quality i would have gone to an art supply store but this was perfect for a try

Excellent clay! The quality is very much professional and super easy to use at the same time. I highly recommend Sculpey brand for your polymer crafts!One bar is a good amount to test it out. I upgraded to 3.6 kgs right after this one.

Soft and easy to work with.

No me ha gustado nada.es muy pegajosa para trabajar con ella y no consigo que endurezca bien.tampoco puedes mezclarla con colores antes de hornear porque quedan como deslavados.no vale para hacer trabajos de pequeño tamaño.

Sculpey in general (except for premo) is too soft to mold into the shapes you want. Would have been happier with something that would hold its shape better.

Made some ring bowls with my kids and they turned out great! Easy to use and best price I could find.

My local now carries this at a much lower cost however I love this
