Works great
I've never resealed windows. I delayed and delayed because I just didn't want to deal with the messy tube sealant. Found this and ordered. Took the window out, of course not as easy as the instructional video, cleaned surfaces, lined this sealant around the rim, carefully lined it up to the window cutout, I needed it to flatten some so I used a hair dryer and heated it up, fastened the inner ring, added a nice bead around the perimeter using painters tape for a straight finish. Looks great. I can tell..... there will be no leaks for a long long time.Yes, it will take 2 people to do this.

Wrong caulk
The instructions called for water in the spray bottle over the caulk. I followed the instructions and made a mess because the caulk they sent in the kit was a solvent based self leveling lap sealant. It didn’t like the water.

Works exactly as advertised
I had four windows in my camper van that needed resealing, and there was enough here for all four. And that's with doubling up the gasket material (design issue, not an issue with this kit). The first window was a learning process, the next three were a snap. Highly recommend this kit for RV repair.

New window seal
Installed a new window in motorhome, kit is OK but if I had to do over, I would use something else. The video that shows the product in use is old and does not use the "caulk" that actually comes in the kit. The caulk is more like rubber cement, smells like it too. Spray bottle useless since this "caulk" can't be spread wet or dry, very messy. Price is too high for what you get. Personal opinion, I think you'd be better off with a good quality butyl tape and good quality silicon caulk, cheaper too.

Missing items
So I got the kit but only received one roll of the window seal verses the two shown in the picture. Also not sure what the empty spray bottle is for. Nothing in the directions mentions the bottle.

Easy to use
Very easy to use. The hardest part of repairing the leaky window in my RV was removing all the old seal. This kit perfectly resolved my issue...& I have enough left over to repair any other leaky windows that may appear in the future.

Unable to use on our 24 year old RV
Conceptually, I liked the idea of sticky, squeezable, rope-type seal. Think of it as butyl, only firmer, and round, not flat. Unfortunately, when we tried to reinstall the first window in our restoration project, our trim rings weren't robust enough to draw the window tight against the seal. In other words, we couldn't flatten the seal material. Bummer because we wanted to like it. Yes, we tried tightening screws a little at a time, working our way around the window. Temperature was about 60F... it may have been easier to "squeeze" the seal if it were warmer outside. Our trim rings on our 1998 Hi-Lo (Creation brand windows) just weren't happy and we didn't want to distort them (more). Oh well. Good idea, but not for us... and maybe not for you?
