Spent £40 on a 53mm Motta Leveller for my Sage Barista Express and I couldn't get it low enough to match the razor tool, so I could only fill the dual single wall filter with 16g of coffee, This on the other hand is perfect, matches the razor height and has a bit more weight to it then the motta, plus nearly a third of the price, brilliant. If you have a Barista Express you will do yourself a favour getting one of these.

It takes people years to perfect their tamping pressure to produce consistent espresso shots.This just takes away all of that learning period - ideal for beginners and perfectionists alike.It produces an even spread, and the tamping pressure can be minutely adjusted between each shot far more accurately than trying to adjust with a basic tamper.It fits perfectly into the basket of the Sage/Breville Barista Express and has been a game changer in the quality of espresso that I can produce in a morning.

Very good coffee distributor (take note that it's not a tamper), cheap and fits perfectly the 54 mm Sage Bambino portafilter. It has a good weight on it and can be adjusted to a reasonable height, much more than you'd actually need for a Sage.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This device is amazing for such a simple thing, it is certainly well made, pretty heavy at around 420 grams, stainless steel bottom that comes into contact with the coffee. This tool is simple to use, loosen the top and then turn the bottom part to the depth you require and then re-tighten the top, simple as that and you get the same result time after time as long as your dosage of coffee is the same.These devices have been expensive in the past, but have come down in price, which is great. I have had my barista Express for about 3 years and this tool makes it a lot easier to have consistent shots.
