It works.
The product helped in getting rid of dog and cat paw marks from my car. It does, however, only works on scratches that are not very deep and are mostly limited to the clear coat. Any scratch that has penetrated the clear coat will have to be resprayed (which is obvious, not sure why people think that a rubbing compound will get rid of deep scratches). Also, do not go crazy while using it. If you apply too much pressure, it will eat the clear coat away. If there is slight fade in the clear coat after using the compound, polish the surface to get the shine back. Use a microfiber pad or cloth and always clean the surface before using the compound. If you want a clear-coat friendly product, look for the products that specifically say that and are not heavy duty compounds, unlike this one.

Things to understand
It's a rubbing compound so don't expect it to remove scratches. Scratches are of many types, but we will basically take 2 for example.1) minor scratches, where there is still paint underneath the scratch.2) major scratch, where there is no paint underneath the scratch. There is no magic compound of any company which can remove major scratch.Rubbing, polishing, waxing is a whole process. Known as paint correction. It's main purpose is to remove dullness, and if there are any micro scratch on the clearcoat it will buff it of. And you won't be able to see it anymore.Use a damp sponge and apply in crisscross pattern in a 1*1 feet area for better control
