This book bullies other authors and is redundant in theme to her other work
I couldn’t finish this book because she kept naming villains after well-known authors, and belittling them in the process. Seems like some Kindergarten behavior, and I am not here for it. I have seen some posts talking about how CMs bully, and I didn’t really believe it until I read this. Get a life and don’t use your book to bully others. Plus, this is the third book I am reading with the same theme. A little advice, it got old. Move on.

Pure CHAOS...literally
In a way, it's disappointing to give a one-star review and I don't do it lightly. After waiting so long for CHAOS, I had expected more. Character development is non-existent, there is zero growth and at times I questioned if these were the same characters and if they were, what in the world happened to them? In HAVOC, the characters were interesting and had decent depth but CHAOS was the complete opposite. The relationship between the FMC and the guys lost it's steam, the RH connection that was there in HAVOC has completely disappeared, and now everything feels forced, especially between Bernie and Vic, and on occasion with the some of the others, borderline awkward. There were instances where sentences did not make much sense, they were choppy and incomplete which made it difficult to read. Also, I noticed some sentences appeared repetitive, they were worded slightly different but were similar enough that I picked up on it.Besides those issues, I have to agree with other reviewers. The blatant bullying of other indie authors in CHAOS is quite sad. It was the accusation heard around the world last year, yet it's still lingering (hmm...I wonder why?) Instead of handling the situation in a professional way, this author opts to take it to a whole new level by being passive-aggressive and punishing this "character" repeatedly, continuously bringing up the accusation (as if we could forget!), and refuses to move on. As others have said, this is her story, her characters, her career but I refuse to support an author who behaves this way. There's enough misery in today's world so why add to it?

Author bullying other authors in book
I’m extremely disappointed in CM Stunich. While reading this book, it was brought to my attention that several of the “bad” female characters were named after other indie authors.Whatever issues the authors may have between themselves, the naming of a negative character after another author for your own amusement or a form to one up them, is not cool. It’s bullying, it’s spiteful and is extremely off putting.I will not support this type of behavior, not with how our world is going today. Do better, be better.

Missing something
Until Havoc (then Hate by Tate James) I didn’t realize I needed some seriously angsts and dysfunctional relationships in my life to keep me going. I did really enjoy this book, I read it in one day, but it also definitely felt like it was missing something.I felt like nothing REALLY progressed. The plot slowly plodded along, we had a lot of sexy times with most of our anti-Hs, but it was a little, dare I say, boring ?It didn’t end on a massive cliffhanger, which was nice. But it almost felt like this could be the last book in the series, even though Bernadette’s list isn’t finished. Like they rode off into the sunset and everything is semi-resolved.I love CMs words, but I feel like Havoc really hyped me up, had me itching to read Chaos. But Chaos did not hype me up to read Mayhem.

Torn by Chaos
I like the characters and root for their harem, but several aspects of the story made this story difficult to read.Bernie repeats herself soooo much. Whether it's Vic's ebon eyes , the Thing's horridness, or Pen's love of pink--read it a dozen times. The information doesn't require repeat. Removing the excess would shorten the short by twenty pages.Bernie has no respect for the lesser members of Havoc. Multiple times, Havoc members disappear, leaving ominous blood in their wake, yet Bernie never asks where they are or if they were recovered safely. It's a terrible queen who doesn't know the state of her nation. Finally, Havoc's planning worries me. The police or the Charter Crew should have caught them many times....the surprise on the lawn, the solitary walks during a gang war. (I'm trying to avoid spoilers.) Even the disappearance of a character rather than the death of the character seems like a bad choice. The cover up would have been a reasonable death.I love this author, but I am not excited for the next book.

Fallen even further in love with these characters!
This book was AMAZING! Let me say it again for the people in the back...AMAZING! It brought all the feelings and emotions but also told the story of a girl who would fight her and her sisters demons. A girl who trusted in her H.A.V.O.C. boys to back her up and also be there for her when she needed them. I absolutely love Bernie, she has a crap home life but still does everything for her little sister. I also love that we were able to get so much back story on the guys and their relationship with Bernie. We learned so much and also how much the H.A.V.O.C. boys love her. This book gutted me in the absolute best way. Such an AMAZING read. I am so excited for Mayhem.

Deliciously dark and full of sin in the best way
I just finished and I wanted to come write my review immediately while all my emotions are fresh.Ffs that was EXACTLY what I needed and more, but also not enough. I have so many questions still. I didn’t relax or take a deep breath the entire book! We’re being attacked on literally ALL fronts that I don’t know how HAVOC is going to come out of this all in one piece. And that scares me.The ups and down, the darkness, the blood, the guys, each one of them is so distinct and different that I love them all in their own way and I could never choose just one ugh. This book touches my black heart and my even darker soul and I love it. I relate to these characters and this world on a level no one understands. It’s raw and real, and full of sin. I can’t get enough.Though let me say, doing that to the Thing was a bad idea. He’s gonna get out, I know it. And I’ll be pissed off at them all when it happens. Fml.I can’t wait for more. This is my all time favorite book series ever. If you haven’t read it yet, you’re ridiculous.Way more than 5 stars.

5 stars is not enough
CM Stunich has done it again. I bloody loved this book. What a build from Havoc. Every single expectation was met & then whacked right out of the park 👏🏻👏🏻I loved getting to know the boys a bit better with the scattered POVs, especially Oscar, and Bernie became more of a badass b*tch.Sweet justice prevailed with some of her list & the wedding was everything I never knew I wanted it to be. I’m now trying to work out how to convince my fiancée to let me walk down the aisle to the same track! No gut-wrenching/throw-your-kindle-at-the-wall/need-to-tit-punch-the-author cliffhanger at the end, but a happy-for-now which left me beyond satisfied whilst simultaneously hungry for the release of Mayhem in 2 weeks. Can we acknowledge just how effing awesome that is? I LOVE not having to wait months/years in between books. An absolutely fantastic sequel in an excellent series by one of my favourite authors.I absolutely recommend listening to her Spotify playlist whilst reading this too!

LOVED. EVERY. SINGLE. WORD.
If you haven't read Havoc before now, where have you been? This eagerly awaited sequel has honestly been like the build up to Christmas for a five year old. And unlike fat old Santa, dear wicked C. M Stunich rewarded us all for being naughty and nice. I have consumed it in a day. Forced myself to slowly indulge in each word and loved it. From beginning to end. Only two weeks till the third book and I for one am only too willing to wait for another taste of perfection.

WOW!!
This book!!!!These characters are dark, intense, damaged and dealing with their own demons but have so much depth and vulnerability that you can’t help but love them and want to know everything about them!Bernadette and her HAVOC boys take you on a wild ride in this book and it’s one that you don’t want to get off! Some questions are answered but there’s still a lot to learn and you know from that ending that the next book is going to blow your mind!!Can’t wait to see what comes next!!A MUST READ!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Dark, twisted and heartbreaking
Wow, Chaos was a ride! I laughed, cried and cheered through the second book of this series.People who had happy childhoods, I think, cannot fully grasp how people who grew up with trauma, terror, pain and abuse behave and think differently. They are the ones in the reviews, shouting, "The Havoc Boys are monsters! Evil!" No, they're not. They are survivors. I love how Caitlyn understands that - how she can live inside of her characters, bringing them to life and doing justice to their broken souls.I loved this book. The heartbreaking flashbacks, the heartfelt confessions. The dress. The revenge. Except for a couple of necessary breaks, I was glued to my chair, unable to put this down.I'm ready for a little mayhem now 🖤

Wow just wow!!
This book was everything and more than I expected. The first book was absolutely brilliant and I’ve been patiently waiting for this one to be released. I loved how it ended, I feel very content although I know so much more is going to happen in the final book. This is definitely my favourite series by CM Stunich, I just fell in love with all of the characters and even more so in this book although Vic is still by far my favourite.I love how much they love each other and can’t wait to see how they all come together in the next book. Bernie is such a bad ass so I have no doubt she’ll wrap them all around her little finger.Highly recommend!
