IG is still good quality.
Good quality and powerful. Disappointed that there are no instructions or operator manual whatsoever. It comes with a thick “safety” manual that has about 2-1/2 pages of English, the remainder is foreign languages. I attempted to search out an online operator manual with no luck. I was hoping to find basic information such as max air pressure. It’s heavy built, powerful, and quiet. Great for removing rusted bolts/nuts. Probably overkill for removing things like tile. Nice case.

Great product
Not the first air hammer I've used but definitely works the best.

If you want a good air hammer buy it
Yep this is a great tool. Ingersoll Rand is the best air tools. Sturdy made and has plenty of punch. Only used a couple times but already seems alot better than the cheap ones i've used before

Wow!
Stop wasting your money on those poor quality air chisels. After years of buying cheap air chisels about 1 every year. I thought it was time to spend a few extra bucks and get something better. Say goodbye to those springs on the end just push the collar and pop your favorite end in. No more fighting the spring. It also has way more power than any other chisels we have owned over the years. While it does weigh more I think that is what makes it work better. One bit of advice though. Your definitely going to want hearing protection and safety glasses. This thing is really loud and the glasses because whatever you are taking apart is going to come out in 1 or more pieces. Spend the few extra dollars you will not be disappointed.

This is a beast!
I needed an impact hammer to replace my old one and man o man did I find the perfect replacement. I'm gonna tell you...if you ever messed around changing out bits with that stoopid spiral spring that seems to want to tighten up on itself every time you want to change bits....get this IR air hammer and put those worries of changing bits in the past! Just pull back the collar, remove the bit, install the next one and you are ready to rock and roll and be a master blaster in no time at all while your buddy next to you with that ancient spring is still trying to change out his bit. You are silently laughing at him while you are off making money with your quick change Ingersol Rand air hammer. Now, I want to clarify something. In the ad it says this thing is "Quiet." The only time it is "Quiet" is when it is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Once you pull that trigger, you better have some hearing protection on because your ear hair is going to be zinging from to and fro at a high velocity. Your eyes will water and your nose will start to bleed. You will get a headache. You may even cuss out your own mama. That is only after you press the trigger. Once you put bit to metal, then Armageddon starts. Horses from the next county over starts to moo. Dogs start to meow. Cats start to bark. But then you'll feel the power in your hands and feel like a man (or a woman...or a they....or a whatever the case may be....) You'll feel muscles pulsating in your body that you never knew you had as you put bit to metal. The vibratory shock overwhelms the senses and the hearing protection protects you from the neighbors as they scream and plead with you to stop but you are now in a zen high. But then you let off the trigger and it all ends.Until you pull the trigger again.

Just as good as snap on or other tool truck brand air hammers
As a diesel mechanic I love this thing and use it almost daily whenever I get a chance. The trigger is very sensitive and this thing hits hard. Should be good for any sort of heavy duty use you might need.
