Blaze Evercade Xeno Crisis/Tanglewood Dual Game Cartridge [

This review is mainly for Xenocrisis - don't get me wrong Tanglewood is good and looks great but honestly, I only got this for the Xeno.I already own it on Switch and I love it and I was a bit concerned the lack of a right stick would be detrimental to the gameplay with it being a twin stick shooter.It's not. Not at all.It plays on the Evercade XP like an absolute dream using the D Pad and face buttons, just as good as using twin sticks on the Switch.Game is the same - the same excellent game that keeps me coming back for one more go - again and again. I suppose that's why I've bought it twice!As with all Evercade cartridges, it's a really nice (somewhat forgotten with the current gen) affair - hard case with a little game booklet just like in the real retro days!If you have an Evercade - GET THIS GAME.If you don't have an Evercade - GET AN EVERCADE AND GET THIS GAME.Seriously.

Contains two Indie Retro Games built in the last five years, Xeno Crisis is an excellent shooter and Tanglewood an excellent platform game. A great addition to any retro gamers Evercade cartridge collection. I will get hours of fun out of these two games!

This is a wonderful little cartridge. Okay, so it doesn't have as many titles as the others, released so far, but it could be argued that these two games are among the best released on the system yet. It really feels like playing two brand new SNES/Mega Drive games, they have that vibe to them. Xeno Crisis in particular is a wonderful game, I'm glad of the save states the evercade allows though!

Both these games are brilliant, Tanglewood is a bit slow but still a great game. As for Xeno Crisis that's just ace. Both games still support safe states which makes getting through Xeno Crisis much easier. I went to the trouble of using Amazon global to get this game and to say it was coming from the US it arrived in less than a week which is great. Highly recommended game!

Ok, so there is only 2 games on this particular cartridge but it's worth it for the amazing Xeno Crisis alone, which is kinda like Smash TV vs. Aliens. The Sonic wanabee Tanglewood isn't quite up to the same standard but is another solid indie game for the Evercade.

Tanglewood is ok, I'm not a platform fan so I won't judge! Xenocrisis is amazing however! Great hardcore top down shooter, that feels like a mega drive game, but plays somehow better. Both games are hard though, so if you're not used to old school games they may be a bumpy ride.

How amazing it is to see two games I never thought I would own on one cartridge. The titles really shine on the Evercade and the ability to play them anywhere is priceless.Great value and the new carts even fit better.

Superb pair of retro-modern games for the Evercade packing in action and adventure on the small screen. Xeno is spot-on blasting that doesn’t lose out from the lack of dualsticks on other systems. While Tanglewood is a charming platformer that looks gorgeous!

Don't think because it only has 2 games that there isn't a lot of value and playtime. Both games are excellent and challenging.Xenocrisis is one of my favorite games now. Brutally hard but so much fun.

Presi questo gioco per Xeno crisis un gioco sparatutto isometrico bellissimo ma molto difficile, un gioco che si può giocare in 2 giocatori ( cosa che consiglio ) e che ti regala ore di gioco, non so quanto precisamente perché ancora devo finirlo. Molto frenetico con molti alieni che ti sbucano da tutte le parti e armi da usare.Il secondo gioco che è Tanglewood all’inizio vedendo il gameplay su you tube non mi convinceva, ma una volta provato mi sbagliavo di grosso, è stato un gioco che mi ha divertito e non credevo che mi piacesse così tanto, dopo aver giocato a xeno crisis che vi tiene molto frenetici, questo gioco ci voleva anche perché vi fa rilassare e pensare per i puzzle ambientaliConsiglio di prendere questo gioco e giocarli entrambi, xeno crisis perché ti mette quell’azione e quella frenesia che ha il gameplay, tanglewood perché è un gioco platform che ti rilassa, sia perché è molto più tranquillo e sia per le colonne sonore molto tranquille, una buona coppia che equilibria l’insieme della cartuccia.

La boîte renferme des jeux que je ne connaissais pas, attiré simplement par certains designs.*Xenocrisis me fait penser à une version d'Isaac avec des extraterrestres. Le choix entre un personnage masculin ou féminin ne change rien, juste pour le plaisir de ne pas toujours incarner le bourrin de service. Le jeu est beau, lisible, très facile à prendre en main, et extrêmement réactif, MAIS il est aussi difficile ! Ou peut-être que je suis juste nul, ça marche aussi. :)De plus, un point très positif est que le jeu est multilingue, y compris en français, offrant une expérience accessible à un large public.* Tanglewood est une expérience mignonne où l'on incarne un renard. Le but est de comprendre ce qui s'est passé et de résoudre des énigmes de plateformes. Bien que ce ne soit pas facile, c'est une expérience agréable, aussi réactive que le jeu Le Roi Lion de l'époque.
