Works Good and Size I needed
It works great. Needed to test the harmonics on my HT radio. I use the Tiny SA Ultra spectrum analyser and it cant handle full power of the radio. So use the attenuator between radio and analyser.

Just what I needed for my TinySA
With these attenuators I'm able to connect my 2-way radios directly to the spectrum analyzer without risking burning it out. One of my radios reaches up to ten watts. I use the 40dB and 20dB in series to bring the power into the correct range for the Spectrum Analyzer. The 40dB model measured 41.5dB attenuation when I tested it with my NanoVNA. The 20dB model was spot on. So I set my TinySA to -61.5dB gain, hooked up the radio, and got accurate power measurements as well as useful analysis of the signal the radio transmits. I may pick up a couple more of these in other attenuation values for even more flexibility.They do get a little warm. Not hot, just warm. They seem great.

A must have if you use a HT with Tiny SA or Antenna Analyzer
Don't damage your Tiny SA (spectrum analyzer) with too much rf input!Use one or a couple in series to reduce the power input to an acceptable level.Remember to use a unit of the appropriate wattage, you can burn these out.Also, prevent interference by using this as a dummy load.Wayne

Good up to at least 1GHz
The specs say VSWR ≤ 1.2 and ±1dB. That is true up to around 1GHz, but seems to go out of spec above that. I measured up to the 1.5GHz limit of my nanoVNA with one sample roughly every 1MHz. Between 1GHz and 1.5GHz the SWR maxes at 1.4 and the Insertion Loss goes up to -25dB.Maybe it should get less stars, but I didn’t foresee using this above 900MHz anyway and it’s possible my nanoVNA is the device not performing well at the high frequencies. It’s a good value for the price. Just be sure to measure it yourself before using it above 1GHz.

Does what it is supposed to do
The BECEN 10W SMA Attenuator works fine to safely allow me to test various transmitters with my spectrum analyzer. Typically, the equipment I am testing runs between 1 watt to 5 watts but now and then a few pieces of equipment come close to 10 watts. This 40db attenuator covers transmit powers up to 10 watts so it is perfect for my test bench. The device is ruggedly built and is highly recommended.

Working great! Allows me to connect my HTs to an analyzer.
I use this to allow me to connect my HTs to the tiny analyzer to check signal output. I can then see the quality of the signal output.

I tested it with mg VNA and it provides the attenuation promised.

Perfect for the Price - Tested on 2m Band
This is not a precision 10W 40dB attenuator but it is perfect for the price. My calibrated VNA indicates that the attenuator is 40.28dB across the 2m ham radio band, with an input impedance of 48.59 ohms and a 1.029 SWR. I lack a “barrel” connector to flip it around and test the other path.It did the job with no problem!
